Hi Everyone,

This will be announced via Facebook, but I wanted to update you first. The first three DAII Lithographs are shipping from Edmonton this week. We are going to offer a 1 day sale for Kirkwall on Wednesday and a 1 day sale Garrett Hawke and Blightlands on Friday.

This will be similar to how we ran the character Lithographs. This Lithograph is priced at $50 as its significantly bigger 39 1/2" x 22"  We will only offer 200 at this price.

On Friday we will offer Garrett Hawke and Blightlands for $80 for both. Again we will only offer 200 at this price level.

We'll use the same time windows we did for the last round.

Thanks

I take it this means Kirkwall will not be sold in a custom frame ready to go.

No. I talked with Jed about this and he said the frame would've basically cost another litho.

Jed, is there going to be a strict limit on this? I would really like for there to only be a limit of 1 per customer. These seem VERY limited and with current events, I seriously feel a limit of 1 should be imposed. I would not mind putting this to a vote either.

heh funny thing is I was kind of looking forward to a cool frame more so than this litho release would have gladly paid a litho worth for the frame

What current events warrant a limit? There are still 300 copies of each lithograph. Your attempt to run the store is starting to grate on me. Am I  the only one? I could understand if you'd been locked out but by your own admission you bought one and then cancelled it.

Have you not been following what Durango has been doing? Have you seen him making slights at the Bioware store forums and using our usernames in his ebay name? It's like a slap in the face for me. I'm sure you wouldn't feel happy if this user mocked you and used your username.
Clearly ebay sellers will leap at this opportunity to resell and deny other members the chance to get these lithos at a more affordable price. All I'm asking is to limit it to 1 for these discounted lithos. Also why would you want more than one copy? From my understanding Jed will replace ones damaged in transit so I don't see why you would need multiple. This will allow everyone a fair chance at getting one of these lithos for a cheaper price.
How do you know the total is 500? Jed never confirmed a number and it may only be 400 or maybe 200.
I don't understand your problem. I am merely expressing my opinions and trying to voice what the majority of the community feels. I'm sure if we put this to a vote the majority will opt for a 1 per customer on the discounted lithos. Unlike you, I'm trying to make things more accessible for everyone and trying to keep things fair.

As a repeat customer, I feel I should have be entitled to express my opinions and changes I would like to see.  Heck if you want to debate and say why we should be allowed to buy 3 lithos and how you think we should run the store be my guest.

Any chance you guys can combine these and the ME2 character lithos into a package to cut down on the shipping costs (for both parties)? I understand that Kirkwall will probably have to be shipped separately, but the other two should be shipped with Thane/Grunt/Tali.

I like that idea, but I can see where it would, maybe, start turning into a logistical nightmare. :D

We may be able to combine with the Character Lithographs. However we're going to have the DA II Lithographs next week and character Lithographs will not be available until later in November so if you're willing to wait we may be able to do it.

Also the reason we choose not to frame is the least expensive frame would have added $55 to the price and increase the weight and shipping cost so we decided to pass.

Why did you edit the price for Blightlands and Hawke, what will they be priced at after the one day sale?

I'm willing to wait, makes it easier to hide my compusive collecting from the wife. I say it doesn't hurt to give people the option either way, especially for the people paying for international shipping costs.

The sale is tomorrow. The reason for the edit was I jumped the gun on pricing the pre-sale will be at the retail price.

Jedi, if I manage to preorder all 3, will it be possible for me to submit a support ticket to combine all 3 orders into one, and thus save on expensive international shipping?

Thanks in advance.

Even though I have never sold any on ebay yet, I have thought of it and I would argue that the ebayers allow the lithographs to get out to a wider audience then just the people that are able to spend there time buying it at the time of the sale and you can either spend your time at the bioware store when it is released and get it for cheap or pay a premium to buy from ebay or other sites and still have the opportunity to own the lithograph.

Even though majority of this community may or may not be against ebayers does not mean that majority of Bioware's customers are against it. The market values them at multiples of their price so I would argue that there are plenty of customers getting what they would not have access to otherwise.

Tomorrow, Novemeber 3, the BioWare Store will be pre-selling the first Dragon Age II lithograph, the stunningly gorgeous Kirkwall Gate. They will be pre-sold in 2 batches of 100 per batch. The first pre-sale goes live at 10am MDT and the second goes on sale at 5pm MDT.

There are only 500 of these lithographs, each signed andf numbered by BioWare artist Matt Rhodes. We anticipate the demand will be high, so we are doing 2 pre-sales before they openly go on sale later this month. There IS a limit of no more than 2 per customer for each pre-sale as we want as many people as possible to have a chance to order.

We did a pre-sale of new Mass Effect lithos last week and each group sold 100 in less than 30 minutes per pre-sale. Be ready tomorrow at 10am MDT and again at 5pm MDT to get your very own Kirkwall Gate.

They will be on pre-sale on the BioWare Store. Don't miss out. {smilie}
