I cannot see any option to play multiplayer.

Will this be patched in, or am I missing something?

Lol, there has been several discussions about this topic. But from what ive gathered, There is no Multiplayer AND there will NEVER be any multiplayer (atleast officially anyway)

There is no multiplayer. Just singleplayer. Also, there are no current plans to include multiplayer but you never know what the future holds. Personally, I would prefer if they put their efforts into more singleplayer content but different strokes for different folk eh?

If you so much as read the youtube comments on the trailers youd know this is single player and has been labeled and advertised as single player for many years.

By the maker, They should put a big label on the front of the game case that says "NOT MULTIPLAYER"

Dragon Age is a single player adventure platform which allows you the ability to create diverse and deep plot tales of adventure using the toolset. There is no multiplayer functionality for folks to log in to a server and roam giant empty areas looking for respawning monsters and loot while having no idea what the story is.

......Cant remember roaming large areas, farming loot and not knowing what the story was in NWN or Baldurs gate though..........(maybe a little bit, but def not like wow, and only to break the linearity of it!

Well for anyone following this game, they should know there is no MP. Sure, it would be fun to have as an option but if it would have meant delaying the game further, I'd say no thanks. If you want a Bioware MP, just wait a bit for the Star Wars game.

Your Multiplayer is not enabled? You have to hit Alt+ F4 while in-game. Then you have to defrag your harddrive with a magnet. Finally, send the deposed king of Nigeria your bank account information and Multiplayer should be unlocked in the main menu.

Seriously, I wish a moderator would make a thread topic titled, "THERE IS NO MULTIPLAYER, STOP WHINING ABOUT IT!" then sticky and lock it.  I bet there would still be threads about it, though.
People really should do a little (yes, all it takes is a very little) homework to try to answer questions themselves.  Especially ones that are answered all over the place already.

"We plan on implementing multiplayer soon, Single player fans stop objecting to it, it aint gonna ruin anything or take up all our time and money away from making SP campaigns!"

No one is whining in this thread, he was just asking if there was multiplayer. I'm sure if someone came and asked what's the best build for a tank you wouldn't say "WE NEED A STICKY, THERE ARE SO MANY THREADS ABOUT WARRIOR BUILDS!"
