Hello.

I recently picked up NWN2 and MoTB and the gameplay is excellent, I'm thoroughly enjoying the original campaign. One thing I found to be a bit confusing is how the prestige class system works, and I'd like to figure it out as the system looks like alot of fun.

I've been following http://nwn2db.com/bu...rsion=1#outline, trying to copy it and get my bearings with the system. But I seem to have done something wrong, I currently have 2 ranks in fighter and 11 in paladin as specified in the outline, but I'm unable to take levels in stormlord as I don't have my third level of divine spellcasting.

I don't know what I've done wrong, since searching for issues related to it just returns a whole lot of generic D&D results, I was hoping somebody here might be able to point out where I went wrong.

If this should be in technical support my apologies, I wasn't sure if it really qualified as technical.

Sorry, forgot to post my attributes.

You should post your character's attributes: wisdom, Charisma, etc.

You need another Paladin level. See this table:

http://nwn2.wikia.co...ladin_or_Ranger

At level 11 you have access to 3rd level spells, but you have 0 castings per day for that level. You could cast them with a higher Wisdom, but not with 14 (you can use items for that, but you need to be able to cast them naturally to qualify for a PrC). So take Paladin 12, then Stormlord.

That page only takes into account your spell level, so it'll show the PrC available even if you have 0 spells per day.

Ah okay, thank you. So the build I was following would be impossible to meet exactly as is given that you can't take SL as only a level 11 paladin?

Yes. You could if you had a higher Wisdom (bonus spells), but with 14, you need 12 levels.
