One of the main points to having Legends on Facebook (as opposed to being a simple flash game like Journeys) is to encourage Social interaction between players. which Facebook does exceptionally well. More details will be made available as we get closer to public launch next year.
Oh so it is one of those things you have to invite friends to. If that's the case, not interested.
Yeah I got like.. 3 friends on facebook, none which plays the game, if I somehow get punished for not having friends around im going to be peeved, becouse I dont want to use facebook, I dont want to drag people who got no interested in gaming into this -.-
EDIT: Fuu, I thought more people would've written something by now.. Uhm.. Not sure if mods can merge the two posts or what.. I didnt mean to double post. Sorry >.<

will we be able to block people on our list from seeing any Dragon Age Legends stuff, or will you try to shove it down everyone on my friends list's throat?
They will need to click on "Hide all posts from Dragon Age: Legends." You can block any app. like this.

I'm playing Assassins Creed : Project Legacy on facebook so DA:L wont be a problem

I'm doing the same and quite enjoying it. Its a nice little game to play at work on my lunch break, and one for the DA universe sounds like a good time as well. Enjoyed DA Journeys and hoping this will be very similar, with some added and interesting gameplay enhancements.

lols then they wouldnt be good friends would they. You'd be suprised how many jocks go home and play video games dude. Its pretty cool if we are talkn about the SEC championships(go gamecocks) then we are talk about either video games, chicks or booze. so be proud of your dragon age love or simply find the setting to block it from spamming the walls that works too.

Hello All, it's me, Dragon Age Legends producer Ethan Levy. I know there's a lot of discussion on this thread about why we would bring DAL to Facebook, which is why I wrote this post on the Legends' Developer blog called "Everything's Better With Friends"
You can probably go on and on about how efficient and fun it could be to play this game. But the fact of teh matter is, and if you bothered to look through the posts on this topic, that a good percentage of people just don't like facebook period. Maybe if it was a social network created by bioware I would sign up and play it but I wouldn't sign up for facebook just to play this.

Not that I'm saying we shouldn't tell them what we want or not, I'm just wondering if there are a ton of people that you can't see that do want this, rather than just what you are seeing right here. If I recall there are a whole lot more people on Facebook that are waiting expectantly for this game than there are posts in this thread.

I found two friends I grew up with that were like brothers to me, ones dad was in the military. Grew up with him and just like that was gone, shipped out in a day. 16 years later he pops up on FB and lives in the same town as me, 2 states away from where we grew up.
Other buddy left our home town because of a messed up childhood and 12 years later pops up with kids and a family looking for me. So it has its pros and cons. For me besides Castle Age, it has more pros then cons.
Anyways, Glad to see something I really enjoy is going to be on the same page as my Castle Age (FB) page!
