Do you unlock the the DLC items as you progress through the game or do you get it just by registering?

DA2 unlock items have not been added to the beta yet. It does not look like your have the new rings belt and amulets in time to use them. Shame it looks like by time they do get the unlocks in The Old Republic will be out. Maybe even Mass Effect 3.

Really Biowares you should have Legends finish. What did you do start work on it this month?
This is going be journeys unlock gear all over again. Where by time you unlock them you done with the game and moved on to the next.

I can't believe you have to actually pay real money to play this game just to unlock items. You know that the items available after playing this game (not to mention spending more than the game costs) are just going to be available for download somewhere else anyway. If there's no one to play with you then you are forced to pay credits which you have to pay for when you run out in order to fight each battle. You even have to pay credits to get health items. It's the equivalent of a Government run cash grab IMHO.

This is not true at all. I myself played to level 9 before the reset without spending a single cent. You are givin NPC's to battle with you and you can make health potions in your castle using gold.

I have a feeling though as you face tougher enemies, the items you receive in game just won't cut it compared to the nice shiny things you can buy. It may be a difficult task to make it through the whole game without that significant upgrade in equipment. I hope I am wrong. Those 5 items better be worth it.

I'd play the game, but I can't while at work. Whatever ports the game uses must be blocked. I'll try again tonight when I get home. I know it works there.
