Ooh another content conversation...I think you all are right .LOL Put in what you like in your PW.

I for one in hind sight would of not put Cep 2.3 in mine ,but to late.I would of picked certain Haks if any instead of the bloated 2.3 .

It is going to be lots of desert....and the default desert tileset is lacking both this and that...even though the tropical tileset could be used to some extent also.

CTP Babylon.  Only desert tileset you will ever need.  Of course I'm not saying that because I worked on it... :innocent:

Of course I have been thinking about the Babylon many times but in the end it always boils down to a battle of if the added content is worth it....

If it's basically a desert PW, then I think there's almost no solid argument against not using Babylon (unless you've decided to use no CC at all).  The standard Bioware desert set is decent enough if a module or PW has a few desert areas, but it's insufficient for a whole world of varied areas.  (Of course, as a contributor, I am perhaps more aware of the level of variety that Babylon offers than the average person.  When a lot of people test out custom tilesets, they go straight for features and groups - but you need to check out all the terrains and crossers to get a full appreciation of Babylon's flexibility and variety.)

Questionmark on the KOTOR heads...will they be in [the CEP]?

The CEP team has my full permission to include the heads (just like anyone else; all my content is open-use), but have decided not to use them on copyright grounds.  (What with the heads being conversions from games published by LucasArts and all, if I'm ever asked to pull them from the Vault I'd like everyone who's redistributed them to do the same.  Of course, the CEP already does have Taina's Bastila head, so I don't know if they intend to take that out or not...)

Sorry, I didn't mean to cause alarm. I don't actually think they should take it out. :-) I wouldn't have worked on such conversions myself if I didn't want people to use them, and I imagine Taina feels the same way. In general, I choose to believe that our modding of an old game falls well beneath the gaze of such luminaries as LucasArts! My personal disclaimer is made more to show respect for their rights (and Bioware's and Obsidian's) than out of a belief they will ever make it necessary to pull the heads from the Vault.

Ask CEP that? :bandit:

I mean to say, considering that there's so much NWN2 content included in CEP, I shouldn't think the small amount of star wars stuff will prove an issue for them.

Maybe the CEP Team is wary of Lord Vader being sent to negotiate the terms of including the KotOR heads in the next CEP release.

Thanks for your help/information Estelindis. Yes ofcourse I have been looking a lot at the Babylon tileset.

Just feels like the CEP also has added some to the desert tileset and that might be enough perhaps. Still interested to see if a new version of that is coming...and whatever else that would contain....

One thing I've always thought the desert tileset was sorely lacking were hills. Hmmmm - maybe I should steal a few tiles from the TNO set and make a new mini-desert.
