... Woops sorry DA2 fans! <.< ; I linked some new footage from DA2 on youtube here, the thread was deleted by a mod apparently ( I wish they would message me to let me know though, so I knew for sure it wasnt bugged out or something) and now the vids are removed copywright from EA <.<

Which is a bit of a shame, becouse the quality was acually pretty good, and made the early footage stuff look pretty bad.

It looks very mass effect like in cutscene dialog though, even the way they "Move away to the next scene" thing from Mass effect (the eyeturn, then head, then the rest follow move)

Anyhows, to the fans around the world that would've liked to see it, I messed up, EA took it down, sincerest apologies.

Yeah, I thought the videos actually showed a great deal of good stuff and had a reply typed up when the thread got deep-sixed. The second video even explains why Mike Laidlaw's "it takes 15 seconds from hitting the start button to getting into the action" comment works, because you go immediately into the exaggerated Varric part - instead of taking control away from the player it reinforces the idea of the unreliable narrator very strongly.

what i found interesting was how we could see the progression of the taint's sickness spreading through aveline's husband with veins appearing, eyes losing their pupil color and the face getting paler.

and another thing, warrior hawke's armor is pretty good looking. you can see different materials in it (plate, cloth, leather, etc)

All the armors seemed very well detailed, especially given it was the console version (360).

Another thing I noticed was the characters' body language during dialogs was superior to Origins. They were reminiscent of Mass Effect 2, especially with Flemeth.

Oh, and the spellcasting animation Bethany had was pretty cool.

and the confirmation that flemmeth took them to gwaren.
wether we will see gwaren or not is not known yet since this was a demo.

Since right after that it went into a really really awesome - seriously Bioware whoever is responsible for it and creating it ought to get a bonus - stylized cutscene describing how they crossed the seas to the Free Marches, I expect we don't actually see Gwaren.

I thought they looked okay, I didn't like the idle animation for dual wield but I almost never like the idle animations in game.  The idle animation for dual wield is only slightly less annoying to me than the idle animation for the Apprentice in The Force Unleashed.  Ugh, who taught these people how to hold weapons?
