Always had this feeling...

Especially if I was using the SoU treasure system in my module...and then wanted to pick only weapons, ranged weapons, armor or any other type-specific loot won't work....or is it just me?

They work, not well, but they do work if your base treasure has the correct items in it. I myself use modified SoU scripts and really instead on the tagged monster treasures to pull appropriate loot.
