This makes sense... No new (major) DLC will be released or even announced until after ME2 PS3. Why? Because if they did announce something, ME2 PS3 players will **** about why it wasn't included in their game. With this in mind, I'd say 2 more major DLC after the ME2 PS3 release; one in the spring (March/April) and another during the summer (July/August), before ME3 is released for the holidays (November/December).

I know that I come online every day just to see if some kind of announcement has been made. And everyday I'm disappointed. I guess for me knowing one way or the other if new DLCs are going to made would go a long way.
I do much the same - mostly from force of habit. I'm more inclined to search for Mass Effect 2 DLC news via Google news a couple of times each week, rather than visiting the forums.
I'd say that I'm starting to 'not care' about ME2, but I'd probably be forced to eat those words when the next DLC is released - provided it's any good of course.
I dunno - there's other stuff to look forward to, no sense pouring all of my interest into a 9 month old game.

The devs have basically said that there's more bridging DLC to come, but they'll be released less frequently now.
I wish the developers would be more specific. "More" could be just one more bridging DLC or "More" could be 2-3 more bridging DLC.
In all honesty, I believe that we will get one more final 2-4 hour bridging DLC with 2-3 more smaller DLCs such as armor, weapon, and appearance packs.
Frankly I think everything ME3 is on the backburner until after the launch of both New Republic and DA2. Not that they dont want to do ME material, but they just cant

I think I read somewhere that they were doing concept arts and such for ME3, but I agree with this. ME3 won't be getting any real attention until after those two games are completed.

Demiurge Studios handled the PC port of ME1. I don't think Bioware is handling the port. They're likely working on some more DLC as we speak, and of course ME3.

I really don't think they're going to trust Demiurge again, although the PC port of ME1 was superior, they were in charge of Pinnacle Station.
BioWare is big enough to handle the PS3 port, ME2 DLC, ME3, DA2, and the new IP they're teasing at the VGA. Not to mention TOR.
Don't forget, they're EA now, and EA is HUGE.

Because they are. Because they said so themselves, and mentioned that they'd recently hired on a bunch more people to work on that, many of whom would later then also move on to helping them develop ME3. This came up when people started to show concern that the PS3 version would take resources away from the ME3 team.
I still can't help but feel that the PS3 version is somewhat responsible for the lack of DLC lately though. After almost getting it montly, we now have had a long period of absolutely no DLC or DLC news. Add to that the fact that we know that the PS3 version is coming with up to LotSB and we can assume that means no new DLC prior to release, otherwise they'd probably include that too.
I think the best we can hope for is perhaps there being a Day 1 DLC for the PS3 release not on the disk that PC and 360 fans can also get when the game releases. I doubt there's going to be anything before ME2 PS3 releases.

So they've already tied up Liara's end, instead of leaving us hanging earlier. Now who knows what Ash/Kaiden are up to or where they are. And all their fans are wanting to know this, we've been wanting it for a while. Bioware's aware that their fans are somewhat disappointed.
Makes the most sense that they'll make a DLC that will also close the Ash/Kaiden plot going into ME3. It'll be easier on them than thinking of a random way to pop them into ME3 somehow...

There was 1 month between Firepower Pack and LotSB and 2 and half month between major DLC (Overlord) and LotSB. With other words, they unable to deliver small DLC and taka double as much time to produce major DLC. So if there will be new DLC than it had twice as much time to be developed as LotSB did. So it will be a big bs if this "DLC" will not be at least twice as big as LotSB.
The only reason for such action, that I can see, is delivery of PS3 port. As many said it before bEAware wants cash, and best way to dig it is by letting gamers on all 3 platforms buy it (I agree with kidbd15 that if DLC will come out before PS3 release then PS3 gamers will **** about not getting it for free).
This whole idea with porting a game the way they do it is wrong. Not only they fail to keep their promise with DLC, but they also fail to deliver a third installment in normal time frame. We all know how it ends up when companies try to cover all platforms - they end up in bugs and delays. Same was/is with Dragon Age- it was/is huge pile of bugs, that they couldn't keep up fixing.
This PS3 port is a major let down and I'm sad that they do it (I know that no one here gives a crap about what I feel).

Excuse me if I don't put too much faith into anything BioWare say.
Which reminds me.
