I'm up to finding Branka for the Orzammar treaty, just trudged through the Dead Trenches and wiped the Brood Mother, after having my groups collective butts handed to them more than a few times so I headed back to camp to offload the loot I'd stockpiled, restock and get rid of everyone's injuries.

Then I notice there's a "Lieutenant Cadrim" standing around the camp, talking to him he mentions something about "the arl" but that's it, I have absolutely no friggin clue as to where this guy came from

I also noticed that when my brother started a city elf there where a couple of parts in the "Origin Story" part where people were knocked out or even killed but didn't show it happen or even show anything leading up to it, the first instance was when the noble's son first appears in the alienage, at the end of the (conversation) encounter he is being dragged off my his "boyfriend" who is shouting at the group of elves about regretting knocking the guy out.

I'm just wondering if in these cases we've somehow bypassed something or if it's a bug and if anyone else has noticed NPC's appearing or other things like this

As you convince the various factions to join the fight against the Blight, they will send representatives to your camp. Sounds like this Lt. Cadrim is Arl Eamon's representative (I haven't completed that one yet).



As for your second question, I can't help you as I haven't played the City Elf origin yet.

Yeah, I just picked up on the fact he's there to represent the Arl not 2 mins after posting.
