I'm still in Origins, and have the "standard" DLC, such as the Stone Prisoner and such.  But I see other campaigns.  Specifically, Darkspawn Chronicles, Leliana's Song, Golems of Amgarrak, and Witch Hunt.  I'd like to avoid spoilers, so I was wondering, chronologically, where these fit in alongside Origins and Awakenings.

From what I can tell, Leliana's Song is a prequel, and can be played anytime (and I get nice armor from it?).  Darkspawn is an "alternate reality", but will there be spoilers if I have not beaten Origins and/or Awakenings?  Witch Hunt, as near as I can tell, should be played after Origins, if not even after Awakenings?  And what about Golems?  Where does it fit in?

I just want to play things in an order that will not spoil the wonderful storyline.  Please help?

Origins > Awakening > Golems of Amgarrak > Witch Hunt

Origins should always be first in my opinion. Although the events of Leliana's Song take place first chronologically, they serve to complement what you learn about Leliana in Origins.

Darkspawn Chronicles is an alternate ending to Origins, so you'd need to complete Origins first to make better sense of its content.

Thanks. I did complete Leliana's side arc already (and have her in a romance), so I doubt Leliana's Song would spoil anything for me. Beyond that, I'm wait until at least Origins is done before Darkspawn, and definitely beat Origins and Awakening before rolling into Golems, then Witch Hunt.

Thanks again. It would be nice if Bioware made it a touch more obvious.

I just beat the Dark Spawn Chronicles and I personally didn't feel that there were spoilers. Should be safe to play anytime in my opinion.

Not if you don't realize that the werewolves and golems are an option.

(Also it spoils the attack by Zevran, but that's It Was His Sled by now.)

DSC shows the entire end game and you don't think it is spoilers? Great thread necro btw.

It's useful info to pop on the forum though.  I myself am new to DLC's and haven't finished Origins yet, so it's good to know what side stories I shouldn't do to avoid spoilers. I bookmarked this thread in my 'useful topics' folder in FF.

I recommend you install everything in the chronological order of release date. Why? Because this way, you won't take the risk to overwrite new game datas with datas from previous versions.

1 Stone Prisoner
2 Warden's Keep
3 Optional different promo items like Blood dragon armor
4 Return to Ostagar
5 Feastday gifts and Pranks
6 If you have Awakening to install, then insert the CD and install it.
7 Darkspawn Chronicle
8 Leliana's Song
9 Golems of Amgarrack
10 Witch Hunt
