I'm a fan of IGN's Daily Fix and the wonderful Ms. Chobot decided to sport what looks like the fem N7 Hoody.  If you want a moving video to see what it looks like as apposed to a simple pic, here ya go: linky  (later, she decided to wear another peice of ME2 apparel - that I can't recognize from the store...)

Meant this to just be a little show and tell of that particular hoody for all you ladies, but I suppose if you all would like to make this topic a bit more worthwhile, you could post pictures of your own, sporting your favorite Bioware Store gear (No Litho's please, and obviously keep pics PG)...

Edit: once it snows, I'll buy a hoody...once i get the hoody, I'll go wear it in the snow and take pics ^^

I like this idea. If people would like to show us your gear we can make the thread sticky.

Some Bioware person posted this on facebook last week. The hoody looked good on her but then again anything does.

I'll bite, but only because I think women who aren't paid personalities should be the ones represented. Token females in XYZ gaming institutions leave a bad taste in my mouth. Bad webcam pics incoming.

Also, is it weird that when I saw my own pic in that side shot I immeidately thought of this? :alien:

Looking good! I'd post, but I have a policy of not uploading pictures of myself online. Also, all I have is the Mako tee from ME1.

Yeah, I have the same policy Erik. I can say however that the women's Tees and Thermals do look good on me. I wouldn't leave home with them on if they didn't.

Oh, thanks for sharing that, Remmak. I had been curious how that particular thermal fit. Any significant shrinkage or have you been hanging that up to dry after washing it? So far I just have the men's striped hoodie and the men's N7 shirt. Waiting for the female striped and renegade shirt to arrive in the mail -- haven't bought women apparel from bioware before so no clue how they'll actually fit compared to the display model.

Well, I am wearing a large in the picture and it's worth noting that I'm six feet tall and about 120 pounds, which is to say, very thin and long-limbed, so I understand your concern in the sizing department. The biggest problem I run into buying tops is that either the sleeves or the torso are not long enough to cover me up, so I end up buying a size larger than I normally wear (a large instead of a medium) and inevitably run into the issue of the top being too baggy in the bust and me looking like a general slob.

But not this thermal! It fits so well I actually looked up the company that made them (Next Level Apparel) so that I could get some more. While they're really priced for wholesale, they will ship out 1-2 "sample" shirts to people. The fabric is soft and has some give to it which is nice, too. When I got a Dragon Age shirt at PAX last year, it was like sandpaper. I washed it like 3 times before it was nice and wearable (and even then, I only wore it to bed because it made me into a human kite it was large).

So, yes, yay for the women's thermal hoodie. I haven't noticed shrinkage, but it's only had one wash so far and I typically do my laundry on cold anyway for that very reason. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I really like the idea of sharing pictures of how clothes fit. I had googled to see if there were any pictures of women wearing the bioware shirts before I ordered them, but there was nada. So I will share pictures of the ones I get when they arrive (still processing my order). Here are the two men's apparel I had previously purchased. For reference, I am 5'7" and generally wear large in women sizes (10 or 12, depending on the item).

Men's N7 Logo Tee - Charcoal (large) -- No shrinkage that I've really noticed and it's been through several dryer cycles. It is soft and not-too-thin, not-too-thick. Only got it because it was half-off at the time I was ordering the hoodie -- why not? I wear it on my morning walks!

Men's N7 Armour Stripe Hoody - Charcoal (large) -- I got this before they added the women hoodies, but I actually like this version so no complaints. It's roomy and soft in the inside. It's long enough to cover my bum (there have been cold mornings where my bum felt warm, but my legs didn't, lol -- yay for oversized hoodies!) and when the sleeves are fully extended, only the tip of my fingers are peeking out. (Not a deal breaker.)  Label says it's produced by "Independent Trading Company."

Edit 11/14/10:

Just got the two women's shirts in XXL. (I like my shirts slightly loose so they'd still fit in case of accidental shrinkage.) The fabrics are thin -- waistband of jeans and bra outlines can show through easily so order one size up if you want to avoid that. Works and looks great with a white thermal underneath. I am very pleased with them and my husband has given me several compliments on how nice they look.

any chance of being able to put submitted user photos in the store? Thinkgeek does this, and personally it instills a good deal of confidence for me.

Yeah. I'm a little concerned about the women's N7 hoodie not fitting properly. I need that extra length in the sleeves, and I want a warm bum, too. It's cold here in Seattle...

I'm sorry my pictures aren't better, but I don't have a good digital camera or anyone to photograph me (I'm kind of an angry hermit).
