So, according to the german BioWare boards (new infos from Casey Hudson) the PS3 version contains an interactive comic with background infos and decisions and also Overlord, Kasumi and Shadow Broker DLCs as well as Cerberus Network access.

They also mention a new 6 hour mission, but no further details on that.

6 hour mission? I wonder what it could be. I assume the interactive comic thing is how ME1 descisions will be set for the PS3 version, so what's this 6 hour mission? New DLC maybe? Abridged version of ME1 for the PS3 crowd? I am intrigued.

If thats what it is they might release at the same time as the PS3 version to get us all back playing the game at the same time.

If you enjoy playing it on normal difficulty and don't bother to stop and view the incredible artwork (backdrops, vistas, etc).

I wonder if they'll incorporate a 'trimmed down' version of ME1? Perhaps some of the main quests...

They might, but I think that interactive comic thing is meant to inform players about the events of ME1, so I doubt there will be a cut-down version of ME1 (I also think MS would prevent BioWare from doing this).

I certainly hope this new 6 hour mission is the next bridging DLC, and they'll release it for PC and Xbox 360 when the ME2 PS3 releases...

I'm sure they will release it for xbox and PC, they will charge 1200 points for it while at the same time including it in the PS3 release at no added cost.

Might be a timed PS3-exclusive. I remember reading somwhere that Sony requires devs to provide "significant" new content for any PS3 port of a fomer PC/360 exclusive.

No matter what BW will say though -this new 6 hour mission certainly will be released on the other two platforms as well. Eventually -if not at the same time.

I'm willing to bet that we'll all feel screwed around with in the end; it always ends like that with these exclusivity deals.

I think if you combine all the released DLC so far into one mission, you will end up with six hours' worth of extra gameplay. I realize it says "new" mission, though

But they mention the previous DLC separately.

Yeah...the German thread specifically states that a new 6 hour mission will be included in the PS3 release *on top* of all DLC released so far.

No. That's the interactive comic. The German thread mentions 3 PS3 specific features:

-The interactive comic
-All DLC released so far included
-An additional 6 hour DLC

We'll just have to see. I don't think BioWare is the type who gives exclusive content of that caliber.

EDIT: I mean this could very well be the next piece of bridging DLC, scheduled to be released along with the PS3 version.
