We'll just have to see. I don't think BioWare is the type who gives exclusive content of that caliber.

EDIT: I mean this could very well be the next piece of bridging DLC, scheduled to be released along with the PS3 version.

Yeah...that's the most probable way things will pan out. The interactive comic probably will be the only thing truly exclusive to the PS3 version.

I hope the DLC is not PS3-exclusive. It'd make me livid, even to the extent of a Bioware boycott.

seems like Bioware has been taking cheques from under the table, it also heightens my suspicions why ME2 is being ported the PS3.

I hope this isn't a retaliation from Sony when MS brought an exclusive DLC right for Fallout:NV

This exclusive DLC bull**** has to stop. If it is PS3-exclusive, I'll be friggin' furious. Much like I would have been if Fallout: NV DLC was only exclusive to PS3.

Relax, people. I'm sure BioWare are smarter than to make it PS3-exclusive. These things just don't work with a game like Mass Effect. You either give it to everyone, or don't give it at all. As I and several others remarked earlier, it is probably the next "big" DLC, which will be released along with the PS3 version but hasn't been announced yet.

I don't know if this has been said yet, but some are speculating that it's a mission that helps new players with the storyline in ME 1, sort of like a "catch up" mission, for a lack of a better term.

Plus, 6 hours of content probably cost a fair few pennies to make, they would want to maxmise the return on that investment.

Edit: Could be Skyline, although an interactive comic is mentioned that will fill players in on ME1. I think the 6 mission is ME2-related content.

*sigh* Yet another reason to be jealous of the PS3 players. :P

My ME2 is bare bones, no DLC or anything. When will I have a Game of the Year addtion with all the DLC in my hands, Bioware powers that be?

Nice. The PS3 players will get a comic explaining how much of an idiot default Shepard is.

Jokes aside. I hope the secret DLC will also be released to PC and Xbox at the same time.

They are doing that because they need to make something that will encourage players to buy an old game. A mission with 6 hours is a worth content. And that also implies that that mission will either be released after a coinsiderable time for the other platforms or it will not be released at all.

Yeah. If this happens, I'm done with Bioware.

It would be nice if bioware would explain this. Some official word here would be nice. This has the potential to get very ugly very fast.

I'm sure they will release it for xbox and PC, they will charge 1200 points for it while at the same time including it in the PS3 release at no added cost.

Which is bull****. I'm gonna get it anyway, but if it's free for one platform, it should be free for all platforms.

People will pay almost full price of a year old game, they basically pay for it.

I really really really hope that we all get the content @ the end. Cause I really disslike "exclusive content on one platform" crap. And I bet I'm not in the minority here.

And as someone before me said, some official words from BW would be much appreciated.

As long as they release it for the rest of us, I don't mind paying. I just don't want any of this timed exclusive poop, it would be very bad for the community.

This had better be released for the 360 and PC versions too. Or heads are going to roll.

If at whatever they decide to charge for the PS3 version if they include all the dlc how would that be fair to some one who buys me2 new on the PC or 360 and has to pay for the dlc. Year old or not it would still be a new game to the PS3. DLC should not be given to one group for free and not to the others.
Still want to know more about this new mission thing.

My friends I would not place too much stock into this so called "new info" until some kind of confirmation has been made on our end. Take it with a grain of salt for now would be my advice.

6 hours in BW time is more like 2 or 3 hours in player time.

If you enjoy playing it on normal difficulty and don't bother to stop and view the incredible artwork (backdrops, vistas, etc).

Wonder what the time of ME1/2 would be, if every time the game awaits user to skip something, it would just assume so already. Dialogs, everything.

A six hour mission sounds...a little unbelievable.

But It won't stop people from ****ing and declaring Bioware is screwing them over.

Why is anyone wasting energy getting worked up over the vaguest of vague reports? The screenshot of Saren pretty much gives away what the DLC is, doesn't it?
