BioWare hasn't said anything about this new content; the only reason we know of it is because a recent German article on the PS3 version mentioned it. You're probably right that it's going to be available on all platforms by the PS3 launch.Crimson-Cobalt wrote...
When did Bioware say that the 6 hour content will be exclusive to the PS3.Bioware just said in an interview with Eurogamer that they are nowhere done with ME2's dlc packs. The 6 hour mission will most probably be DLC that will also be be released for the 360 and at the PS3 versions launch.I think the only diffrence will be that the PS3 version will get it on disc.
ME2 on PS3 contains "new mission"

This isn´t about free DLCs but about that exclusive 6 hour mission for PS3.Elite Midget wrote...
I'm from the future and I just bought ME2 GoTY Edition! It was the same price as vanilla ME2 a year ago but I got a a lot more free DLC too!
That's directed to the fools that wanna cry about a game released a year later on a different console getting DLC bundled with it so PS3 owners will be more likely to buy it.
What's next? Get angry at Bethesda for releasing FO3 GoTY Edition that was the same price as a released FO3 but bundled with the DLC too?
If it really will be just for PS 3, Bioware better be ready for some rage and riots here:O

My friends I would not place too much stock into this so called "new info" until some kind of confirmation has been made on our end. Take it with a grain of salt for now would be my advice.
There is an easy Fix for that an offical announcment from Bioware stating what actually is fact for the PS3 version.

And once a new Bioware game comes out and
release everything like DLC, stuff animals, toys, etc. you will buy
every single one of them and love Bioware even if they make that 6 hour
content exclusive.
No i will not i haven't bought any game from Ubisoft since the launched their 24/online-DRM and i will treat Bioware the exact same that would mean no SWTOR for me Bioware needs People for their MMO they can't afford to alienate customers
I as well as others i read about in different threads will boycott Bioware in the Future if that would be exclusive Content for the "Newcomer" i hope they don't.

There's no word of "exclusive" in there, we don't know that yet and what it is at all.
Maybe they just don't want to talk about that mission that early.

My hopes for Mass Effect 2 on PS3:
I hope those 3 DLCs are on the disc since the PS3 version will be on Blu-Ray. It seems a sure bet this will happen at least especially since it also comes with a new six-hour mission supposedly.
I hope they re-encode the FMVs for the PS3 version as well since a Blu-Ray can hold uncompressed video and audio with no problem.
I hope it also has an uncompressed 7.1 LPCM audio track. ::drools::
I'm also wondering if it's possible for it to support Steamworks in some way. Steam Cloud saving perhaps? Probably not likely until Portal 2 is released on PS3, but one has to think big from time-to-time.
You copy and pasted this in the other topic
This made me laugh.

now if they're worried about us getting pissed off about having to wait for it then when they announce it they tell us the release date other than a general "soon" and have us wait two months... soon means two weeks tops bioware

But exclusivity is a pain in the ass.
I don't want to miss out.
And I see nothing wrong with them telling us if it will be available to the rest of us or not, even if it's not released till during/after the PS3 release.

Yeah. I don't think they're gonna be dumb to lose the potential mony from xbox live subscribers and pc buyers.mrsph wrote...
Chances are 360 and PC owners are just going to have to pay for the "new mission" as a separate DLC just like always. Not a real biggie since the PS3 version needs some incentive for people to actually buy it.
But if it stays exclusive, it better be **** or I'll be pissed off.
