I don't think Jennifer Hales soft voice she uses for Shepard would fit that well for bulkier femShep frame. She gives some sort of vulnerability for femShep that suits just well for her current twig shape. Only her actions, Yahg / Krogan punching doesn't entirely fit for current shepard frame, but that can be always explained by cybernetics and genetic engineering

I agree with the OP in that the fem shep's body was way too slim and non-muscular to be taken seriously.

As if that frail body could have ever punched Saren so hard in the face that he dropped her to the ground after having her suspended by one arm. I call sci-fi shinanighans on that one.

Seriously Bioware, beef up the females. Its one thing to have them looking sexy all the time, but sometimes practically demands respect, especially when you're saving the galaxy every other day with your bare fists.

Pauline Nordin seem ok to me but Charlie James is fine!

Characters in action/adventure videogames and movies have to look attractive else sales are hurt badly. People want as much escapism as they can get. Unfortunately since the canon of beauty for females is currently a thin, delicate body, we're pretty much stuck with an unrealistic body shape for Femshep.

I would say that it is more a case of that the developers of games thinks that only the supermodel cliché sells.

Uhhh no, open your eyes. It DOES sell. I guarantee you most guys are more attracted to Victoria's Secret models than a chick with a body like Evander Holyfield.
