Personally, I think it's quite cool that the companions have unique armour now. For me, in DA:O, the companions ended up with the same armour in every pt, but as it had the same design for everyone, it didn't look unique. So yeah, I like this idea. :-)
I didn't quite get if the upgrades you can make to the companion clothes also change the look (slightly)?

Like some of you, after hearıng the podcast, I was put at ease..I agree wıth the club that supports ''every char should have a distinct look'' and sure It sounded terrible on paper, but as u progress the in the game outfıts change and as u find new pieces, the dıfference will be shown(if im not mistaken).
Also,
Maybe their streamlining things a bit, but somehow I doubt they would remove hard core elements as they ''sort of'' did in ME2.
From what İ can tell, DA2 will still be a love letter to dungeon crawlers.

Dragon Age on Facebook? Experience the horror as the Darkspawn steal your personal information and sell it to the Arch-Demon.
I like the direction with companion armor. My party pretty much always looked the same at the end of Origins so a bit of visual flair will help.
I'm also glad to read about the companion skills to make them, again, a bit different...as long as their skills aren't as usefless as "shapeshifting".

Ugh, since when did skeletors become acceptable as Darkspawn?

Woah dude.. Isabella actually looks good in those screens. Did they edit her appearance? Or is it just the angle? Isabella just went from a "no go" to a "maybe possible".

Guess Isabella won't be a Duelist.

She seems to a be a 'Swashbuckler', which is her 'personal version' of Duelist. It makes sense that she'd have more specialised abilities than the basic Duelist tricks she'll teach Hawke (or taught the Warden in DAO). Most if not all of the companions will probably be that way, having more unique variants of the specialistions they can teach Hawke.
