If they only have one outfit for the whole game it'll be a bit of a shame but I won't be too concerned - disliking whenever Morrigan changed from her outfit into the 'orrid Tevinter robes speaks that I personally prefer the ME2 style over the DA:O one. /shrug

Please, if you're going to start some pointless argument about her face take it elsewhere.

She look positively stunning to me. But, de gustibus, as the Romans used to say.

I really find it boring when the followers wear the same damn outfit the whole time.

Not really. The screenshot that's being waved around is just one of an unflattering angle. Film a 10 second clip of yourself doing stuff and then break it down to individual frames, you'd find one that's really unflattering.
Though we're going off-topic.

could i start an argument about console players being too stupid to manage several inventories forced Bioware to dumb down the game instead?

Not unless you find a non-combative way of phrasing your argument.

No. We're trying to cut back on the PC v. Console player debate around these parts lately.

However, since now only hawke actually uses random armor that you find off dead guys, I'm concerned there is going to be fewer such items. In DA:O you had 3 other party members you needed to keep upgraded with new armors, so the developers needed to ensure a variety of armor drops at all times. Now you have 1 character (hawke). e.g. my inventory is going to be packed full of Runes and other upgrades, and rarely find a unique set of full plate or studded leather.

I think it'll still be common, you just won't find a Dalish Leather Jockstrap in every box.

What if you find 5 cool armours, and you can only use one of them, since the rest of the group just wants to wear clothes, and whatsnot?
You sell it. Just like how you'd do in Origins once you got BiS.

Ah, shepherd_lives why did you change your avatar? Your last one was smexy, I hardly recognised you there!
Also, to be on topic, I am *loving* the way they are handling gear this time around so I won't have a chest full of 20 frakking suits of armour that I'll never use but am too scared to sell off cause I might want to use them later. It sort of reminds me of weapon legacy system from LotRO where equipment grows with you over time and you customise it without having to change to a new item (granted it sounds like weapons don't operate the same way as armour but that's my analogy and I'm sticking to it).

Seems lame to sell a damn good armour, just because a companion would rather wear a white shirt and a scarf.
Yeah, thats the other side of the problem. Isabella spends 2/3 of the game wearing a shirt and scarf because I just have not found "Pirate Armor (Isabella)". yet. But I keep finding items for Jar Jar, whom I don't have in my party because Jar-jar is annoying.
Upgrading armor in pieces (via runes) solves some of that problem, but as I said before, It might make it where you're just carting a bag load of generic runes around, and the thrill of finding unique armor is lessened.
