Hey all,

Just got Dragon Age Ultimate as a gift and cannot get disc 2 to install. The first disc goes through just fine. When it asks for the 2nd disc, I put it in and hit retry...and nothing happens. It seems hung up on the same file and does not seem to be recognizing the 2nd disc. It will eventually ask me to insert disc 2 once again, although the disc is still in the drive. The disc looks clean and I haven't had any issues like this before. Any ideas? I have contacted support, which was of no help and am having a hard time finding any answers about this anywhere. I am not super computer savvy, but I can usually figure things out with enough direction :)

Thanks very much in advance.

Hi Ami, got same problem here and I just solved by pressing Shift button while inserting disc 2 ("Awakening"), looks lot like an autorun problem.

Hi All,

I have the same problem. Setup does not recognize the second disc and keeps asking "Please insert the next disc (disc 2)". I've tried pressing shift and disabling autorun in other ways, but this does not seem to help. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Jelle

solved:

I ran both discs in compatability mode for windows 2000 ( As suggested on the E.A support site) both disc installed with no problems origins plays OK.

installed it in the end by copying the files on disc 2 to desktop and intalling each file separately - bypassing the autorun.

i have vista and this turned out to be fine.
