It's also part of the user agreement that when you sign up for Bioware Social Network you have to participate in a forum debate about boobs at least once per fortnight or lose your posting privileges.
Boobs are awesome.

Who would disagree with that?
Now which size boobs are awesome might lead to a disagreement...
I personally prefer a nice handful. Much bigger than that and they get annoying (well they annoy me personally. Too damn heavy).

I think you have been the most honest female gamer so far. While the rest have been moaning all over sexism and exploitation, you finally come out and say the truth (and I suspected this reason anyway but was too afraid to say it under fear of being eaten alive by angry female gamers)
Right because you magically know every single female gamer's breast size.
it has nothing to do with that
though I can always tell what a female girl gamer probably looks like IRL

I think simply stating an opinion on the record on boobs is sufficient to satisfy the statute.

Is it me or did it just really awkward in here?

No one has brought up the Jacob romance yet. We're good. This is just typical casual internet offensiveness.

Oh, please. God. Other than this one poster (who is certainly entitled to her opinion), I've only seen men complaining that male game characters make them feel inadequate for their couch potato-liness. If you think i envy Bethany and Isabele their enormous knockers, I proclaim you... serially male. For one thing, only a woman could truly appreciate how uncomfortable it would be to run like that.Mecha Tengu wrote...

isnt it true? and the few female gamers that actually do meet the western social standards of what is beautiful and pretty are such special occurences, that they are widley marketed and publicised to the point of simply becoming objects
that is why female girl gamers often are as what you said above. Escaping a world of impossible standards, gaming is a much eaiser and relaxed world
but now complaining that "hur hur hur sexism". because it offends you or you are jealous

pratically all male game characters are impossibly perfect and OF COURSE they make men feel adequate
but who the hell complains? I paid for testosterone man that kicks ass and gets the girl. Sure I can't throw fireballs and have golden spiky hair, but wtf? comparing yourself to a video game character

Uh, did you read the thread? (By "I've only seen..." I meant here, in this forum, today- as well as in other discussions on this topic in the DA2 forum. Men always jump to "yeah but I don't look like those guys either". Completely missing the point on their way to admitting their feelings of inadequacy.)Mecha Tengu wrote...

if I was wrong, then all women would enjoy video games, not just a small percentage, (so small that they are called their own special group of gamers), and then you would have your so deserved equality
but derp

then I pity the fat fool who wants to kill dragons. You play video games to achieve something you never could in the real world, not to complain about the shortcomings of your own life to a video game

The female gamers I know are just about as representative of any other group of women. Except maybe sorority girls. I think that's like the yin to their yang.
Heck I know a few sorority girls that play Dragon Age.
Overly perky? Check
Damn I wish I looked like her beautiful? Check
Plays Video Games in her spare time? Check
