I know he was ready. Kasumi was too. Probably Overlord. There are traces of SB on the disc (some of Liara's lines, obvious things like "Liara DLC" files). I'm going to say this as clearly as I can:

DLC was developed separately. Those extra DLC characters wouldn't exist because they never got planned. They were never done with their separate DLC team. They were never going to be included.

You're contradicting yourself
How can it be on the disc and developed separately? It can't. You're making my point for me.

Not happening, get over it.
Talk to Microsoft, not Bioware.
Get over yourself.

Those weren't insults. I used your words, if they offend you then you should re-evaluate what  you've said. You fail, go pout.

Here's your answer:

There will also be some DLC Bundles, such as the Aegis Pack as well as exclusive both Free and Paid DLC for all PlayStation 3 owners such as the Recon Operations Pack.
Edit: While I can't go into details all of this content is or was available to Xbox/PC Owners but otherwise wouldn't be available to PS3 owners.
More details about this will be released later. ;)

Recon operation pack just sounds like some of the pre-order bonuses the 360/PC got inside one package.

With the possibility of some of the Dr. Pepper promo stuff.

No it won't. I want all the content on my 1 platform, not "buy the game twice to experience everything" crap

Unfortunately it seems lots of people are going to buy the game again anyway

Because it's not completely on the CD itself, only the stuff that is done far in advance. Kasumi's dialogue was on the CD, that doesn't mean Kasumi was on the CD. Her mission, character and such was not implemented. Same thing with Shadow Broker, same thing with Zaeed.

There's no contradiction.

If you have nothing to contribute but insults, then bugger off.

He only mirrored what you said.

 Separate teams. Alongside the main team. Developed as DLC. That's why. Because it was never a part of the main quest. It was only ever developed as DLC to serve as DLC. It was done during development so the characters could be more easily integrated into the disc as a full companion and to minimize technical issues.

Maybe you misunderstand what "developed" means. If two people do two different projects and combine them together to make a whole, they've still developed their projects separately. Let's say it's for school: three people develop the main essay with the research and composition and writing. Another person is told to find pictures for emphasis--something unnecessary for the essay but it'll make it look better and score higher points.

But they run out of time and tell that fourth person to not bother with it, or maybe they're struggling with the research and can't afford for this fourth person to do his own thing, and ask them to instead work with them. Now there are no pictures. The essay is still complete, and the main project has been done. Maybe it would've been  better had they been able to get pictures for it, but they didn't.

So, even though they were involved with the same project, they chose to develop things separately to amalgamate with each other at the end. They never needed the pictures, only the essay. It is not entirely important that they were there, and no one can tell that there's anything missing.

So buy ME3 for whatever system you use and you'll have the full experience. All Bioware is doing is giving the PS3 users the chance to enjoy ME1 just like everybody else.

The Xbox360 and PC already have exclusive content - it's called Mass Effect 1.

All I hear is whining from xbot fanboys who can't get over the exclusivity thing. Deal with it. How many things have the PC and Xbox gotten while the PS3 got shafted. All your whining isn't going to do anything. Glad Bioware is at least making it up to PS3 fans who can finally enjoy this great series.

No that is not "ALL" you are hearing, but then the "xbot" comment just proves you are just another fanboy, so what you have to say isn't really all that important.

i have both systems, and have played ME1 i don't know how many times on my 360.

i'm glad to hear that ME2 is being released for the ps3, since i know a lot of ps3 owners who have been dying to play these games, but don't have the PC power to play them when they were released,

however, i have to say i'm a little disappointed by the whole "interactive comic" thing. i'm happy that bioware is giving ps3 owners SOMETHING to get them caught up with the story... but it seems to me that it would be far better for them if bioware would just do what team ninja did with ninja gaiden and change the title of ME1 a bit and release it on the ps3. i know there's a crap load of people out there that won't agree with that, but there's SOOOO much in that game that i don't believe an interactive comic will be able to give ps3 owners the same feel, and definitely not the same experience, that they would get by playing the full game from start to end.

So from the first words of ME2, it was clear that Zaeed AND Kasumi were planned IN the game.

Zaeed was used for trying to avoid second hand market ... Kasumi to get more money out of the game market, which resists increase of price.

For the future, Bioware (and any other company) will look better what infos they gave to their "fans" ... so it will be more complicated to look through their doings. But you can still be sure ... A LOT OF DLC is cut of out of games ... for several reasons.

And this is only because a lot of people BUY DLC. If they won´t, the companys wouldn´t get money out of it and stop this ****.

I don't mind DLC. To tell you the truth, I'm happy  they produce it. Thisis some refresh for the game. Every time they relesae something is a reason to go back and play again:). My problem here id tere is not enough of them - one a month - that was first version...

And don't tell me that money is so much big problem here.

I have another problem. I would like to own the stuff I bougt as long as I want, not as long as they support Cerberus Network, bcs without Cerberus Network we can't play the DLC  - bougt or not.
You need CN to autentification of your copy every time you installed it.
What if I want to play the game after 10 years?  Will CN exist so long? I still play Planescape Torment from time to time:))

If you have it on discs, you need just the disc and console to play ( with PC is not so easy, thanks to Microsoft, but not immpossible). You don't need internet connection, don't need Cerberus Network. So thats why I'm waiting for GOTY edition - I want to have all on discs. Then I will not worry how long the Cerberus Network be supported.
If GOTY edition will miss free DLC from CN, it is just miss the point. I don't need such a copy, bsc I already have a copy. SO - if the GOTY edition will be complete, I will buy another copy of the game. If not, I just pass.

I know that, it's just that I used the code and it didn't work. Very strange.
