You don't get it, the bottom line is we're avid fans that want to get our hands on everything that deals with Mass Effect. And the fact the comic will never be coming to PC and 360 is upsetting because its like Bioware turning their back on their pre-established fanbase for a potential fanbase. Considering it's a million times easier to code content for the PC and 360 than it is the Ps3. It doesn't make sense why we aren't getting it.

So what? There are rabid fans on the PS3 who want ME1.

And ME2 is the second game in a series - it doesn't make sense that we're not getting the first game.

This is totally half-assed on the part of Bioware.

Do u honestly think Microsoft is going to allow Bioware to port ME1 to the Ps3? That's like asking Sony to port Uncharted 2 to the 360.

or mario to ps3

I'm sorry but to those comparing a comic and a game are...special.

You can't fight bosses in a comic, I doubt you're going to be able to pick dialogue choices in the comic, you're not going to do most of the side quests in the comic.

There is no comparison. PS3 owners are getting shafted and I say this as someone who owns the Xbox copy of the game.

The Uncharted IP is owned by Sony, the ME IP is owned by EA your argument would have worked had the IP of Mass Effect been retained by MS. But now EA has the power to use the loophole Tecmo did with NGaiden and should EA do it there is nothing MS can do about it.

Erm what ?  I don't know what movies based on books you have seen but in my experience the movie is usually an "abridged" version of the book (oh look that "abridged" word has been used in here).  You usually find a book contains much more detail, I have seen movies based on books that cut out massive chunks of plot to fit the 2 hour time limit for most movies.

Now if I read a book and I like the book, then a movie comes out based on that book naturally I am going to want to see that movie.  Even though the movie will not be as indepth or detailed as the book I will still want to see the movie because it is a new way to experience the story.

In essence what some are saying here is "you read the book and it isn't fair you get to see the movie as well because I can't read the book so only I should have access to the movie".

That wasn't the example made.
The example used was a novel adaptation based on a movie. Different thing.
Your argument makes no sense.

Great argument.

I have been, I think, pretty clear all along that it is not "all right" for the PS3 to get shafted.  There is, however, nothing that can be done about the PS3 getting shafted by Microsoft over ME1.  Whether or not the 360 and PC owners get the interactive comic, the PS3 owners will still have been shafted over ME1 by Microsoft.  The comic being released across all platfroms has nothing at all to do with the PS3 getting the shaft.  Nothing.  At all.

I just hope they leave the scene where you leave Liara for last in the comic. That is hysterical.

PS3 owners wont get shafted if the comic comes out on PC/360. It doesn't make any different to them. Only a jealous sadistic mentally challenged person would want to punish us for something that is out of our control.

You get the first game. PS3 owners get the comic to "make up" for it.

Parity.

/facepalms

The only reason the comic is being released in the first place is because the PS3 can't get ME1.

You're getting it late.

You have no right to complain about getting it regardless because the only reason it was created was because PS3 doesn't have ME1.

I have read the novelizations of all six STAR WARS movies.  I enjoyed them.  Reading the story was different than watching the movies.  Didn't need to read them... wanted to.

precisely, I played Halo Combat Evolved and read the novelization. They were essentially the same thing but I loved them both.

Right to defend yourselves? Seriously?

The comic only exists because of the PS3's lack of ME1. It isn't new awesome content for everyone! It's a attempt to make up for the lack of ME1.

Why BW doesn't just suck it up and go the NGSigma route I don't understand.
