Sorry  but I don't own a Xbox 360 or have a good PC so PS3 it is. Really the level of butthurt about the PS3 ver is just sad.<_<

on a non whiney subject (imagine that!) I do hope that ps3 dlc has the collector armor(which i suspect is what the "exclusive" ps3 dlc is aboot) i'm willing to toss bioware $5 to dress up like Guyver (if you're not familar with guyver, do kindly play in traffic, thanks)

@Walrusninja it could happen though it will most likely be called 'Ultimate' Edition... having said that with it winning GotY the other week perhaps it will keep the GotY tag instead, although the fact I'm sure I heard someone reference ME2 on PS3 as being what their definition of the 'Ultimate Edition' my money is on that.

@Doctalen do grow up, such comments say more about you than it does them.

@DavidXlongshot Just because ME3 is coming out in Winter of next year doesn't mean they can't release an 'Ultimate Edition' in say... oooh May once all the DLC that they are doing for ME2 is out. Judging by the posts you've quoted and several other people, it's obvious that some people who already have the game would buy the 'Ultimate Edition' even on the same system no doubt.

Also just because the game is coming out on Playstation your all like "ooh they don't care about PC/360 anymore." really? So are you saying that Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect 3 are only being sold on the PS3 now are they? They aren't doing the PC/360 ones? So that post by Chris Priestly the other day about the PC requirements for DA2 was a lie was it?

Ok I guess I was just imagining it then when I saw they were still selling those games for the PC/360. Am sorry, I really do pity you for making such fools of yourselves.

Edit: @Kail yeah I know what Guyver is (though MacGyver was better ), I imagine that the Collector Armor (and its rifle) could indeed be in one of those bundles we are getting. Might be tempted to get it myself, have it for PC but never used it so far in any playthroughs and I reckon could be useful for one of my PS3 playthroughs

I couldn't care less about ME2 going to PS3, or the DLC being included, and I don't care about the graphical updates. I just would be disappointed if PS3 gets exclusive content, is that so hard to understand? And I'm not talking about the comic, although it would be nice if 360/PC gets that too after a while. But I wouldn't freak out we don't get the comic, we have ME1 you know?

It doesn't change your own experience with ME2, it's just sharing it with more people. I can't fathom how an adult would be like this, so I hope these comments are from younger gamers.

Don't they have a Collector's Edition of the PS3 version? That's where the collector stuff came from in the PC & 360 versions. It wouldn't make sense to not make a LCE for the PS3 as well.

At the very best, PS3 users will get free content that some PC/360 users can't currently get without buying Dragon Age or another copy of ME2.  In one instance, that's confirmed: they just automatically get the Blood Dragon Armor.  Weird choice for a freebie, but whatever. 

For everything else, it's iffy because the forum post about it mentions that some of the "exclusive" content will be paid content. It sounds like they might be getting the Collector gear for free, but it's not really clear.  The Terminus/Blackstorm stuff isn't mentioned at all, possibly due to there being an exclusivity thing with Gamestop (given that it was only available through them or EB games, which they own, in most of the world).  As noted, it seems likely the Dr. Pepper gear will be available too, though whether it too is free is unknown. 

My suspicion is that some sort of agreement with Sony was hammered out and that this "exclusive" stuff will be free for Playstation Plus subscribers, and will cost 2 or 3 bucks for everyone else.

Eyerolls They AREN'T abandoning PC and 360... didn't you read the news that ME3 is coming out on ALL THREE systems?

@DarthTrethon well... I think if they were it would've been announced by now seeing as it's gone Gold. Incisor that was in the CE is in one of the DLC bundles even PC/360 can get. Which then only leaves the Collector Armor, Rifle, some of the themes from the soundtrack and the art book that the CE had. Personally I wouldn't get CE again for ME2 because I've already got PC version and I've hardly ever used the rifle or the armor. That being said I've got a feeling the in-game stuff will probably be on a DLC. I would imagine if it is, that will probably be another 'Paid for' DLC considering it is including items from the CE.

@Didymos1120 I don't think all of it will be free, Jesse does state some will be free, some paid for. I actually would hazard a guess that the Recon Ops pack (potential Dr Pepper items pack) will be a paid for DLC bundle, otherwise they would have people kicking off about the fact they had to buy some Dr Pepper (although in some cases that isn't true) to get the codes.

As for Blackstorm and Terminus, am really not sure about that. Yeah they were a Gamestop (forgot which company in UK had it, think it was Play.com) exclusive pre-order. but then again the Inferno Armor was a pre-order bonus too and that has ended up in a pack. So it wouldn't surprise me if we get a 'Terminus Pack' which includes the Blackstorm and Terminus Armor. That one most likely would be free and I actually imagine would be for PC/360 if they eventually released it there too.

Besides the above listed items (only in-game ones not in specific 'DLC bundles' at moment), there is also the Themes/Avatars/Gamerpics. I can see them making those available for PS3 as well. Themes and Gamerpics self explanatory, The Avatar stuff maybe costumes for PSHome. All those were paid for DLC on 360 so I imagine same for PS3.

I would go as to far as to say that they probably would release them all on all platforms eventually, PS3 probably just got an 'Initial' exclusive just like with the Comic.

Of course there could be some 'new' bundle that they'll release on all platforms on PS3 release date, like maybe another appearance pack... we do know they are working on more mission packs that will be for ALL systems, so maybe we'll see another one of those shortly after launch on PS3.

Course this is just all theories I have, I don't know anything official.
