Totally a day one buy for me. Been looking forward to ME coming to PS3 for years now. Unfortunate that we do not get ME1 but nothing can really be done about that.

As for the comic, seriously...people complaining about a ferking interactive comic that helps link the two games for PS3 users? I mean really people, come on. I really hate gamers this generation. All they know how to do is complain.

Even though im sure the comic is coming to PC/360 owners, the fact that those players even complained about it is utterly pathetic in my opinion. You players have played ME1 for YEARS now and have had ME2 for about as long, you know the story and get to actually experience ME1 the proper way, why in gods name complain about PS3 users getting a interactive COMIC to help link the two games? I just do not understand.

All the released DLC on disk is perfectly fine in my opinion and since you can pick up both ME1 and ME2 for dirt cheap on both PC/360 and buy all the DLC and still come out ahead i think is a good thing for those players. Were paying 60 bucks for the entire package, quit complaining, thats 60 bucks you get to keep in your wallet.

Exclusive DLC i have mixed feelings about. While i want it to be even across the board the fact remains that still to this day 360 and PC players get tons of exclusive games and dlc, im still waiting for all the other Oblivion dlc that the 360 got that was not included in the PS3 GotY Edition. So they package a few extra bits into the PS3 version of ME2, so what. Recently 360 just got exclusive Fallout NV DLC. I dont see 360 people complaining that PS3/PC didnt get it.

Look, the fact of the matter is both systems and all companies are wrong for exclusives. I hate each and every one for it, and while id like to see a gaming world where there is none, its just not good for business. Exclusives drive buying for that particular console/game so i can see some (hopefully) non-story related exclusive content for PS3 users with ME2. Cause trust me, if i could afford to buy a 360 JUST for L4D/L4D2 i totally would. Still (stupidly) hoping to one day see those games on PS3.

Sorry if anyone is offended by my post. Was definitely not trying to offend anyone, i just call it as i see it.

The Fallout: New Vegas DLC is a timed exclusive, just like the DLC for Fallout 3. It will be coming to PS3 and PC too.

But yeah, I think console exclusive DLC stinks. It only hurts the fans and doesn't actually boost sales for the specific platform anyway. (See GTA4 and Tomb Raider: Underworld for example) I don't like it and I never will.

The thing about timed exclusive DLC for me is that by the time it reaches my system of choice my interest in the game has already lowered.

Exactly. Still find it hilarious that i have not purchased a single piece of DLC this gen, for any game, Dragon Age included if that tells you anything. Thats why i havent actually purchased Fallout NV yet either. My father in law did, even though i told him he would save a ton of money by waiting a year for the GotY Edition.

Did you know the irony of the Tomb Raider: Underworld DLC.

It was exclusive to the 360 yet the PS3 version of the game still outsold the 360 version. Random fact of the day.

It was hinted the PS3 ver. comes with a life size golden statue of every character in the series and the collector's with a realistic flying identical size replica of Sovereign or the Normandy (it's random).

PC and XBox360 will get the "comic" even before the PS3 version will be released. So there is really NOTHING left for anyone beeing mad about.

Wait ... the DLCs on PS3 are on the disc and not a download. So there is still THIS thing left.

I got Kasumi, Overlord and Shadow Broker today for 600 Points (XBox360) which means for me 5,2848 USD (got my points card very cheap). So I´m not waiting anymore on a "maybe" coming disc version.

lol im glad the ps3 owners will get mass effect 2, i would have bought the ps3 version if it was released earlyer my old pc has to do for now hehe mass effect 3 on ps3 and i might pick it up when its around the $30 mark!

If they make a Game of the Year Edition for Mass Effect 2 on the Xbox360/PC then i expect it to be the same like the Mass Effect 2 Version on the PlayStation 3 using the new Mass Effect 3 Engine in Mass Effect 2 and having all the DLC on a Disc. Even though i already have all the DLC. Hopefully Mass Effect 3 will stay Single-Player because if i see it having Multiplayer then i'm not going to buy it, unless it's Co-op but even then it's pushing the line.

from the demo i played the mass effect 3 engine on ps3 for mass effect 2 isn't much of an upgrade i honestly cant see much difference between the ps3 and xbox360, but maybe thats just me. The PC version should look as good as your pc is i guess, so usually better. Its just sad that mass effect won't be released on PS3. maybe a GAME-OF THE CENTURY trilogy box with mass effect 1-2 and 3!

Don't know where you got that from, but they've never said a thing about the Terminus gear and PS3.   You also wouldn't get it from the EA Store even were it true.
