You die a lot yes but it's not hard it's just unforgiving. I finished the game based ontrial and error understanding the terrain. The game forces you to really be patient when you fight and to know when to flee and when to keep on fighting.

Ah, then I might try it eventually. I still want to get better at games before I attempt it though. How long is the game? and I heard that it doesn't have a pause button, is that true?

Yup it opens up an inventory nut it doesn't stop enemis from attacking you. I clocked quite a lot of time on Demon's Souls but mostly because I was always adjusting to the terrain. There's this boss in the game where his attacks do massive damage and you fight it on a narrow bridge there's no invisible wall protecting you from falling so if you dodge wrongly you die.
The game seriously is unforgiving but I don't know about others but I got used to it.

It's not difficult or unforgiving. Any body with half brain can figure it out.
The game only punishes you when you go full retard.
Well, how do I know when I just went full retard? Go into 1-4 at a low level with out proper armor/spell/weapons.
You be ****ed in all holes by Red eyes knights, Black phantoms, and finally the false king.
You do bad in Demon's souls by not being prepared. I don't consider that difficult.
Like the dumb asses that go into newgame+ with only 20 vitality and get one shotted by the games weakest enemy.
At max level in pure black world tendency named Black phantoms drop you in two hits.
You should get it eve! I'll help you as a blue phantom. BEWARE THE FOG.
You can't pause it.
I answer any question just pm me. I got over 200 hours in Demon's souls.
I died a little over 30 times on my first play though. Then again I am talking to Mass effect fans here.

Nah it's just unforgiving. I mean majority of the enmies are slow enough for you to tell how they're going to attack.

As in most games don't punish you for stupidity and carelessness.

Yes it makes it unforgiving it makes it good as well. Bad =/= Unforgiving. Forgiving is "oh you died good, well it's okay that's why we put a checkpoint every 5 minutes because we understand this things happen".BringerOfChaos wrote...

I meant it in it's "unforgiving" as in it doesn't forgive stupidity that most games do. I can see this as a misunderstanding between the two of us.

I hate when games do that. I hate having to change weapons and stuff in real time, it always causes me to mess up. I love when games pause with inventory like ME and BioShock.
I'll try it. Is the online helpful? You know when other players send tips on where they died(I heard that was part of the game).

Read some of the late 40's early 50's pages here you'll see how PS3 owners still don't get the best deal.
ME2 on 360 now = $20 Plus all the DLC would total $55 that's excluding whatever promo MS cooks up. $55 is the maximum price for those 360 gamers wanting everything but they also have the otion of not buying certain stuff like say Overlord and Stolen Memories. This will cut down the price, point is it's an option PS3 owners get a package deal and must pay $60.
The Graphics engine is either worst or different depending on where you look but it is commonly agreed upon that it's not superior.
The 360/PC version will also get the comic if they want edit their save files and get a recap of ME1 as do the PS3 owners but only 360/PC owners get the option to play the first ME.

Since PS3 owners had to wait so long and missed out on ME1, giving them already-released DLC for free and a catch-up comic is perfectly fair. Exclusive stuff? If it's just weapons, I won't care too much, but I don't like it. If it's more than that, expect serious rage. Collector and Blood Dragon armor as exclusives made sense, since those people bought Dragon Age and the Collector's Addition, and therefore spent more money. I paid full price for ME2 when it came out, so I think I should be able to get the same DLC packs as the PS3 players.
As a corporation, Bioware is usually careful not to nerf its fans. Playing favorites with one audience? That's just dirty.
