You die a lot yes but it's not hard it's just unforgiving. I finished the game based ontrial and error understanding the terrain. The game forces you to really be patient when you fight and to know when to flee and when to keep on fighting.

Yup it opens up an inventory nut it doesn't stop enemis from attacking you. I clocked quite a lot of time on Demon's Souls but mostly because I was always adjusting to the terrain. There's this boss in the game where his attacks do massive damage and you fight it on a narrow bridge there's no invisible wall protecting you from falling so if you dodge wrongly you die.

The game seriously is unforgiving but I don't know about others but I got used to it.

I hate when games do that. I hate having to change weapons and stuff in real time, it always causes me to mess up. I love when games pause with inventory like ME and BioShock.

I'll try it. Is the online helpful? You know when other players send tips on where they died(I heard that was part of the game).

You can assign 4 weapons/spells/miracles/healing/restoring items to the d-pad.

You should never have to open the inventory in a fight.

As a fan/owner of Mass Effect for the 360, I am fully prepared to get the PS3 version.....aside from some v-synch type issues, which were minor, I was pretty impressed with the demo. Colors looked amazing...perhaps a tad too vibrant

Some gamers need to get over themselves. Bioware is a great company - its really clear they try hard to create a great product with a great value. For $60 ME2 was an excellent value, out of the box......and sure, while no one game is perfect, we can all find stuff to complain about if you really want to

Oh boy. My 360 broke during Shadow Broker, right after the Christmas sale, just as I was falling in love with the game again.  Something about the cutscene biotic fights gets me pumped; they're gritty and come out of nowhere.

Anywho, out of impulse, I got an old 60 gig PS3 a few weeks before, which I'm now thankful I did.  I guess once I figure out how to sell my Gamertag, I'll pick up the PS3 version. Anyone got any tips? PM me if so.  I don't think ebay lets you do that anymore.

Not my fault that my friend introduced me to the game this way. he said "Hey play this" I was at his house then and was doing nothing when suddenly a BP came in. He attacked and the damage left me with a health bar that looked empty he had little healing items at the time.

Honestly besides that the only deaths I had is because I wasn't paying attention while dodging when I was fighting the Maneater.

Read some of the late 40's early 50's pages here you'll see how PS3 owners still don't get the best deal.

ME2 on 360 now = $20 Plus all the DLC would total $55 that's excluding whatever promo MS cooks up. $55 is the maximum price for those 360 gamers wanting everything but they also have the otion of not buying certain stuff like say Overlord and Stolen Memories. This will cut down the price, point is it's an option PS3 owners get a package deal and must pay $60.

The Graphics engine is either worst or different depending on where you look but it is commonly agreed upon that it's not superior.

The 360/PC version will also get the comic if they want edit their save files and get a recap of ME1 as do the PS3 owners but only 360/PC owners get the option to play the first ME.

First, do not calculate present price of ME2 for X360 in comparision to ps3, check both in D day. Second, I do not give a damn thing about  what is commonly agreed. New enginge means better engine.
If ME was exclusive for X360 so ME2 also should be.

Have you even seen the threads regarding the PS3 demo, no one is saying it's better and many are saying that the problems from ME2 are still present so newer engine in this case does not mean better if the same problems still exist.

Meh, if he had actually bothered to read the OP by Jesse Houston he would have realised that as well. Instead all Mad-Max90 has proven is that he is an unintelligent fool who can't read properly.

Hi, I'm a PS3 owner and only jumped on the ME bandwagon a few months ago when I saw one of my friends playing it on his PC.

For the first time ever, and I do mean EVER because PS-owners aren't used to this feeling, I was jealous of PC/360 gamers. You guys had these 2 already amazing parts of a trilogy with a better storyline than your average hollywood blockbuster and the only way that I would be able to play it, would be to either: go to my friends house or buy a PC/360 wich isn't cheap.
So when he told me BioWare was making a PS3 version I was over the mood with joy.
And he explained to me that; "we would be getting all the major DLC's included into the game".

I think (and this is my PERSONAL opinion) that's fair because if a PC/360 gamer decided to buy ME today he would be able to buy the game + the cost of the DLC's at a cheaper cost than a PS3 gamer.
But then came the word that sent shivers down my spine, exclusive content. Now I absolutely HATE al those "exclusive" pre-order incentives like getting your standerd armor available in 9 new flashy colours or a gun that does nothing usefull or whatever. because I found that this stuff becomes available anyway after a period of time so you end up feeling like a right idiot. Don't get me wrong, I love a good DLC but having to pay for 3 items?

Now from what I have heard from my friend it seems that BioWare is able to withstand EA pressure (I don't like EA, okay they make a good sportsgame but they lack vision). So if I was a PC/360 gamer I would have a bit more fate in my developers ;-). And even If we get a weapon or whatever for free, you have a chance of moding your game to create your own mission, armor,...and that's something we will probably never be able to do. That's one thing PS3-owners don't like to admit

So I hope you'll go easy on us new guys. Were just happy to be on the team :-).
Oh and don't boycot Bioware I mean really, if you boycot them, they won't be able to make games anymore and you'll get ME the EA version (5 different ME all looking and feeling the same in 2 years time and with a lame story :-D)

Hey I would have no trouble if they released Red Dead Redemption for all platforms.
I'n my honest opinion ME and RDR where the 2 best games, miles ahead of the competition.
Theve been going head to head in almost every category they where nominated in, splitting the awards fairly

@Crazy666p RDR is on all platforms (well definitly on 360 as well as PS3, think Rockstar have been looking at a PC port). Also with regards your previous post, you didn't offend anyone one thing to clarify though, PS3 isn't really getting 'exclusives' the only 'exclusive'ness is that some of the items that PC/360 owners already have had access to is getting packaged up into 'packs'. A lot of people are under the assumption that the 'Recon Operations Pack' is going to be the 3 Dr.Pepper items that PC/360 owners had access to (technically still do as expiry date for codes is end of the month). PS3 will get that pack day 1 release, I imagine Bioware might release it to PC/360 players after the end of the month.



As for my opinion of best PS3 exclusive, if I was going to say anything, I'd have to go with Little Big Planet sequel looks amazing with what can be done with it but I know it isn't a game that would truly rock everyones boat.



@Iggy4566 I have NO idea where he got that silly idea from. I think he is basing it purely on my nickname/username, which basically means he hasn't heard of "A Knight's Tale" even if I have spelt the last word wrong (apologies to anyone from Liechtenstein )

I'm sorry if this is not the correct thread to post it, but I didn't know where to... so I'll be asking here

The thing is, I'm from Spain, and I want to import Mass Effect 2 (PS3) from UK, the problem is that I don't know if the text are also in spanish, (I will be able to play it if still is English, but not my little brother) so that's why I'm asking here, because no one knows it. So if I import the game from UK, I will be able to play it with spanish texts (I know that the voices are in english, but the text, can be changed, or when putting it in my PS3 will be displayed in spanish?????) Someone knows????
