PS3 Exclusive Content Clarification

Crazy666p, definetely agree rdr is amazing but out on all consoles anyway. I have a ps3 as well as a 360 and have played all the imo good exclusives and think that some of them should be shared with the rest of the world as me is being shared with ps3 but that's unrealistic for most exclusives although 360 is getting metal gear rising but if that's a true metal gear game is very controversial...

I'm sorry if this is not the correct thread to post it, but I didn't know where to... so I'll be asking here
The thing is, I'm from Spain, and I want to import Mass Effect 2 (PS3) from UK, the problem is that I don't know if the text are also in spanish, (I will be able to play it if still is English, but not my little brother) so that's why I'm asking here, because no one knows it. So if I import the game from UK, I will be able to play it with spanish texts (I know that the voices are in english, but the text, can be changed, or when putting it in my PS3 will be displayed in spanish?????) Someone knows????
Either way, Thanks ^^
Ok I can't confirm if this is 100% true for the actual game. But I just decided to do a test with the demo. Basically I switched my PS3 language to spanish went to the game and nothing noteworthy showed it had altered the text language (didn't actually play the game though, but all menus were in English). Interestingly enough, I noticed that the Little Big Planet 2 demo was listed in spanish on the PS3 main screen and when I fired that demo up, not only was the majority of writing in spanish but the VA was spanish too (rather than it being Stephen Fry, unless it was him speaking spanish but it didn't sound like him
As earlier pointed out, there doesn't seem to be an option to determine what language you want the subtitles in, in the options in the game, just whether you want subtitles or not. You aren't the first to ask a question of similar note as there has been people from Germany and Italy asking this too. One question I've been meaning to ask people who've queried this, is it really cheaper to import a UK copy than get one from your native country? Or is it that you just prefer the English VAs?
Best advice I can possibly give would be to PM Chris Priestly or one of the devs as they'll obviously be able to give a definitive answer to your question. Whilst a lot of them do check the forums, they don't necessarily read every single post/topic so it's much better to draw their attention via PM as they obviously do read those

About why I want to import it, is because I will be saving at lest 30-34 €, for my is like buying another game, so THAT'S why I want to import it, because I also have to buy Dragon age II, Deus Ex, Little Big Planet 2... All the money I can save is worth importing or anything.
Thanks ^^

If you import ME I doubt it'll give you the option to go through the comic.Doctor_Jackstraw wrote...
I wonder if, should it be released for other consoles, if you import ME1, have that dlc, if it would just run through your me1 playthrough in comic form when the comic segment comes in for non-imports.
Way I imagine them setting it up for PC/360 (and to a lesser extent PS3 is as follows).
Main Menu (screen on left side)
New game -> (brings up options below)
->New 'Default' Game - gives option to select sex of Shepard then fires up game as normal no choices made until lazarus part.
->New 'Comic' Game - As above but adds comic into the intro where shepard goes through choices from original game.
->Import 'ME' Game (only available for PC/360)
->Import 'ME2' Game
I can't see them forcing people to go through the comic if they are ok with the 'default' choices. So this idea to me makes most sense. 2 Weeks to go (well for the lucky US/Canada people, just few more days over 2 weeks for the rest of us hehe)

That's creepy detailed ;-) maybe you should ask for a job at BioWare designing the menu's because that's a simple yet effective set of choiches. I hate those games where you have to choose like 40 options before you get to play. There should be a 2 question maximum: 1 choose option, 2 You sure? and play that thing. :-D
PS: I'm guessing you're from Europe seeing as the game releases a few day's later, same here in Belgium.

Was wondering when someone would post this.
Got kinda mixed emotions about this. I applaud Bioware for giving PS3 owners incentives for getting this great game. But on the other hand this DLC was offered to 360 users (and I believe PC users as well) if you preordered from GameStop. Anyone could get it when all the DLC was leaked on release day, but then it was gone. But for PS3 users it is available for free now, and then it's a paid DLC. Personally I think it should be offered as a paid DLC across the board for all platforms.

Yup am from England, not like am counting down the weeks/days, no... not at all lol
Kind of frustrating though because even though am unemployed (and thus could easily just go to shop first thing in morning), I'm waiting till later on in the afternoon because my Dad's birthday is day after and family is going out for a meal that evening, so I figured I'll go pick game up before we go for the meal, then after come back and play... getting Little Big Planet 2 Collectors Edition too
As for the Terminus Armor + Blackstorm, well kind of expected something like that to happen. On PC I don't think I ever used the Terminus Armor despite having it and I rarely used the Blackstorm... although probably would've if it had caused something like shown in the advert for it when it was advertised for PC/360 lol
Hmmm....

Only downside is that I have an exam on the day the game is to be released. So that's kind of a bummer but on the plus side is that I'll be able to buy the game cheaper in Antwerp than in my own city wich has sadly been deserted from decent game-prices for over 4 years now... God I hate that Free Record Shop (sometimes up to 10€ difference with a normal game store.( 10€ = 8.5£ or 13$ roughly):-D

Me and my younger brother own a single copy of Dragon age, but to ensure we wouldn't be fighting over the playstation I bought my own ps3. So my question is, will we both be able to get the blood dragon armor (seeing how it's installed on both our ps3) or is only one of us going to get it? In wich case i'll just have to be the fastest to download it ;-).
Thanks in advance.

I would even go as far to say Xbox users should be reimbursed for DLC
Okay, I don't like console exclusive DLC one bit, but what you're suggesting is ridiculous. Would you demand this if there's a GOTY edition for Xbox 360 and PC? Because that's how you should look at this.

@mikeybear: That is only true for people that bought the game later. people that bought the game when it came out have to pay more than what PS3 users will and get less content. Really XBOX and PC owners should be getting some amazing deal if PS3 owners are because without them the PS3 version wouldn't exist.

Also, how interactive is this comic? Will it only have major plot points, or will it have littler things that carrys over into ME2 like the Conrad Verner stuff? Caus it's the little things that really count.
