I would even go as far to say Xbox users should be reimbursed for DLC
I see no other option: you'll have to file suit. You should get on that.

Hey nobody forced you to buy the game and DLC from day one. If I buy a game from day one and a year later there's a cheaper version incl. the DLC I can't complain. Because I decided to buy it as soon as possible.
So I see no good reason for Bioware to reimburse anyone for the DLC (except if there was a major flaw in your DLC of course, like it won't install or something)
PS: has anyone found an answer to my question on page 67 about the blood dragon armor?
Thanks in advance.

I think this is different. After the release of mass effect 2 for ps3 in a few months it should go down in price but at the moment it should be full price and dlc price included. for them it is not considered an old game but a new game that they are getting an amazing deal on. xbox and pc users got a crap deal for getting it straight away. the ps3 users are getting a much better deal out of this

Well that maybe true but it is kind of like saying here is how you get your new game and here is how they got there their new game. for ps3 users it doesnt really count as dlc but at the very least it is extra content in their games. there is no need to make it a better deal for ps3 owners in retrospect it screws over pc and xbox owners.Crazy666p wrote...

Ah, but if you consider it a new game then you can't see it as DLC but just another part of the original game and therefore they should be included in the standard price (the price without DLC). Because we would have no idea that those things were DLC.
Unless I 'm mistaken about what you mean with "a new game" of course

This comment along with that of the executive producer, Casey Hudson that it is 'the definitive version', and graphics comparison people Digital Foundry is highlighting that contrary to reviews of the demo, the PlayStation 3 version does deliver.

Hey Folks,
For those that don't know, I am the Producer responsible for Mass Effect 2 PS3. Some of you may have read over on the German forums some of the details on Mass Effect 2 PS3's contents. I'd like to provide some clarity as I believe that there was some translation errors in the interview that Casey gave.
Firstly I'd like to talk about what's on the BluRay Disc; Of course Mass Effect 2 will be included. On top of that, Lair of the Shadow Broker, Project Overlord, Kasumi: Stolen Memory and the Blood Dragon Armour.
Also included is, as on Xbox 360 and PC, an access code to the Cerberus Network. This will give you instant access to the same great lineup of Downloadable Content such as Zaeed and Firewalker.
We've talked briefly about the Interactive Comic. BioWare Edmonton (the group that made Mass Effect 2) teamed up with the fine folks at Dark Horse Comics to create an interactive backstory. While I can't release all the details about this yet, what I can tell you is that we want to create a stunning visual experience that not only tells the core story elements of Mass Effect 1, but also is fully interactive allowing you to be faced with some of the major choices which will have consequences your Mass Effect universe. This interactive comic's initial release will be exclusive to PS3 owners who would be otherwise unable to realize the full effect of choice in the Mass Effect universe and will be included on the Cerberus Network.
There will also be some DLC Bundles, such as the Aegis Pack as well as exclusive both Free and Paid DLC for all PlayStation 3 owners such as the Recon Operations Pack.
Edit: While I can't go into details all of this content is or was available to Xbox/PC Owners but otherwise wouldn't be available to PS3 owners.
More details about this will be released later.![]()
I want also to touch on the '6 hour exclusive mission'. This I believe is a communication error lost in translation. When we talk about 6 hours of content we are talking about what's included exclusively "On Disc" (Kasumi, Shadow Broker, Overlord), The Interactive Back Story and the Cerberus Network Access.
Words can not express how very pleased I am to be able to bring this BioWare title to our PlayStation fans.
Lastly - As we're still a little while away from shipping this game, therefor some of these details are subject to changing.
-Jess
ps The the team is in the final polishing phase now and the game is looking fantastic! I can't wait to talk more about it and show more of it soon!

Nah, they're paying for it. They're paying for it bundled with the main game.Drakkhenden wrote...
Has he explained why PS3 owners are getting along with the game what 360 owners have had to pay for? If he has could you point me in that direction please?
If you were a 360 owner, you'd pay for the main game for about $20 and then pay for the DLC separately for about $26. Which is still cheaper than what the PS3 players are paying for the lot.
ETA: Also, XBox Live Gold members recently got to purchase the DLC on sale.

This is so wrong. if you own a 360 you still have to pay for lotsb and other etc yet if u have a ps3 have it free. im sorry but thats just saying hey xbox fans you open ur wallets and pay us for dlc u can get free if u own a ps3. also unfair to those loyal fans who bought the dlc on day of release only to find that others get it free. so do we get a refund then? ofc we dont.
