We've talked briefly about the Interactive Comic. BioWare Edmonton (the group that made Mass Effect 2) teamed up with the fine folks at Dark Horse Comics to create an interactive backstory. While I can't release all the details about this yet, what I can tell you is that we want to create a stunning visual experience that not only tells the core story elements of Mass Effect 1, but also is fully interactive allowing you to be faced with some of the major choices which will have consequences your Mass Effect universe. This interactive comic's initial release will be exclusive to PS3 owners who would be otherwise unable to realize the full effect of choice in the Mass Effect universe and will be included on the Cerberus Network.
Dude, I pre-ordered and bought at release the PC collector's edition of your game. I've bought all your DLC. I buy, without exception, every game BioWare makes, and I have for several years now. I consider myself to be a loyal BioWare customer, so I have to tell you this platform exclusive interactive comic is really some bull crap. If it is a "stunning visual experiece," I want it, and I'm not really interested in wating for 6 months after it is released for some other group of game players on some other platform.
We had to endure that crap with the X Box exclusives for Jade Empire and Mass Effect. It was bad enough that we had to wait for the PC versions of the game, but what made it worse was that Chris Priestly spent those intervening months insisting that these titles were planned to remain X Box exclusives, and no PC versions were in development... or even considered. After those stunts, our ability to be amused by your "platform exclusives" is non-existent.
Loyalty is a two-way street. I'm still annoyed about the whole X Box exclusive thing, and having Priestly lie his butt off to all of us on the forums for months about it. Platform exclusives are a sore spot, and I don't think you guys really want to pick at it.
