i dont see any reason why he wouldnt be, and he is part of the plot. i really doubt our hawkes will ever meet cassandra though.

A Dwarf would be a romance option BW hasnt done before and BW has shown alot of interest and dwarves.  If he is a romance otion my only question is.

why isnt he with lady hawke? lol

We know Isabela is completely optional, but then again we didnt know much morrigan other then she was the warden LI in previews.  so i guess your right.

devs said it in the Isabela thread when everyone was calling her a skank.

I really hope weg get a male mage as LI for Lady Hawke (I'd especially like a bloodmage or at least someone with a strong character who doesn't regret being a mage at all... and a bit sarcastic, that'd be nice  ) and I think Varric would also be an interesting LI. I'm just a bit afraid we have at least one LI that's quite standard... you know, nice, caring, some kind of sad/tragic background (not necessarily Carth-Syndrome ), you easily get him/her to love you by always being friendly etc. like Alistair and Leliana...

i'm sure you'll atleast be able to make him a blood mage.  Makes me wonder what Bethany's view on Blood Mages are? But BW usually has that 1 good LI and 1 evil/wild LI.

People have said about seeing Aveline in kirkwall (either in demo or video, not sure entirely).
She doesn't seem much like a redshirt to me, I bet she will be an Alistair sort of romance with alot more mourning.

Isabela is promiscuous like Zevran. She is no doubt the easy bisexual romance option for Hawke.
I'd hazard a guess that she might betray you in the story, pirates are well known for their backstabbings.

The only male mage I've seen in DA2 media is a tall robed Qunari in the deep roads concept art,
then a robed figure with a long staff in that splatter dragon image thread which shows all possible companions.
These two small bits of information could be connected as one to make a Qunari Saarebas companion.
I know that is a long shot for some, but it seems quite clear to me.

Saarebas companion could likely be the straight female hawke's apostate LI (like Morrigan for male wardens).
It would not surprise me if this is the case, for the Qunari LI threads have become quite known for drawing crowds.

Varric for some reason I can't see happening as a LI. If Gaider says "it won't happen" it means "it won't happen."
Just like my favourite pal Sten and those werewolves I killed a whole dalish clan just to see them in future games.
So if Gaider at least has a single thought about "no dwarf LI" then it will be "no dwarf LI", sad but probably true.
Though I'd hate to disappoint all those Varric lovers out there so take my word with a pinch of salt.

Personally I think we might be seeing more than 2 options for each gender this time around, and NO this feeling has nothing to do with ME2.

if aveline is the other Female LI my males will most defiantly be romancing Isabela with my males. maybe have a triangle like i did with Leliana and Morrigan. Personally from what i heard the older DA fans are attracted to Aveline. She'll prolly have a better personality then Isabela.

I agree Isabela will be the easy option like Zev, having sex with anything that moves since she does alot of sleeping around.

Romances for males will feel like romances for females in DAO. Having the pleasure romance and the loving romance.

You would probably feel really bad for romancing Aveline and Isabela at the same time.
When the confrontation comes you'll get that "Leliana is nice and wouldn't want to make her feel sad" speech.
Isabela and Aveline's personality could be changed with the rivalry system (make Isabela lady like, Aveline happy).

Using your already in place prediction it could be guessed that male LI's will relate to Morrigan and Leliana.
My original opinion was that the male LI's would be: Qunari mage (hardest relationship), Varric (Leliana like).
Due to the recent knowledge of another thing that Gaider dislikes or he puts on his "useless fluff list" I would bet now that the bisexual male LI would be human.

Seeming as Gaider's word is the undisputed "word," I would not dare speculate on it being wrong.
It would be interesting to see what this Varric thread says, perhaps a developer quote is there?
Normally I dare not go into that sort of thread because of the mass amount of fan girl posts.
