Wtf? D3 next year? No, it would take them more time to perfect it. It will not be coming out next year. I am sure of it. Even the expansionpack for Starcraft 2 won't be at least 18 months from now.

P.S. Buy Starcraft 2. A great game.

I dunno, I like Diablo style games for the first playthrough, but then I'm not interested enough to soldier on through another playthrough with my powered up character. I always plan to, and then I never do. Examples: Diablo, Diablo 2, Champions of Norrath, Sacred 2, Borderlands....finished em all once and couldn't be bothered to go through again. I think I've learned my lesson finally.

I think D3 looks awesome, but I fear it will be as repetitive as the first two. At any rate, my plan is to get DA2, TW2, and D3.

Also, why do people insist that The Witcher is a good game? It's boring, the main character is very... annoying and disagreeable, and I just don't see the appeal.  I think you crazy people just like to collect those sex cards >

well..i like Geralt...he is one good mai nchar....dunno why every woman finds him attractive though...he looks kinda ugly to me....on the other hand...the novels were far better then the game

well i'll buy everything DA II,Witcher II and D3...so no complaining here

The combat was pretty crappy but it had a pretty good storyline.  Refreshing change from the "good v. bad" dichotomy in BW games.

Having looked at some of the gameplay and the type of things they're doing with D3, I would look forward to playing it if my time weren't entirely pre-occupied with starcraft 2.  That, and from the looks of things it's going to be 3x more complicated than D2 inventory/equipment-wise, I just don't feel like it's going to be something I will enjoy playing

Well, I thought Diablo 1 was okay - the music in Tristram was awesome, at least - and I hated Diablo 2. If review after review and a bunch of my friends tell me I'm going to like it this time, I'll give it a look - but there are plenty of other games to occupy my time.

And I don't like Starcraft or WoW so... yeah, I skip Blizzard games.
