 Running a brand new copy of the game with new high end computer. I can't see the mouse pointer when I play the game fullscreen... only in windowed mode.... the mouse is still there as when I play with the mouse it'll highlight buttons if the cursor passes over it but I can't see the cursor itself...

Get rid of any mouse animations, such as "Trails", or any other unusual mouse graphics from assorted themes. The Aero theme can occasionally be among the conflicting things.
