This is something I've been thinking about for quite sometime and that is that I've thought about the franchise potential for Arcanum: Of Steamworks & Magick Obscura which was developed by Troika(the guys that made Vampire Masqueradesk) a while back and one of the most memorable games that I've played. And for those that don't know what Arcanum is, it's pretty much a fantasy game with Elves and Dwarves and all the other stuff you'd expect from, let's say, Lord of the Rings but the catch is that the world is going through it's industrial revolution.

The reason I bring up Arcanum is because I've noticed a lot of people that want a steampunk game whenever people would bring up topics like "What type of game should BioWare make next?" or something along the lines of that. People want a different atmosphere. Now, it would be really neat if BioWare bought the rights to this franchise and started making more games based off the series(as well as keep the isometric gameplay). Or Bethesda or Obsidian could make an Arcanum game and turn it into a first person view RPG like Fallout and the Elder Scrolls series. Either form of gameplay would do.

What do you think of the idea?
