Tali is 24. That's significantly more than "barely an adult".

By human years. But then, 100 is barely an adult by Asari standards. Quarian maturity rate isn't likely identical to humanity.

She was just on her pilgrimage in ME1, which is the right of passage. Right of Passages, by their nature, tend to be very, very early in their adulthood (if not slightly before).

Ah yes. The old, "You can't have a relationship with Liara! She's just a child! Gross!" saw. Takes me back to the heady days of 2007.

And here I was worried that eventually people would see through it. But they've not, it's alive and well, and even better still, a second excuse for shock and righteous indignation was found. I really should have shown more faith in my fellow man.

And she clearly has some sort of odd obsession with Shepard now. Just read her LotSB logs and the stuff she says on Haelstorm, and my Shepard usually only talks to at her to yell at her about something.

Please elaborate! Are you afraid some immature homophobes might be upset?

I agree with his statement, but probably for different reasons. It would seem a little out of character if Garrus or Jacob romanced a male Shepard, just as it would if Miranda started to flirt with the female Shepard. I think male-male romances were a missed opportunity and BW should not change a characters sexual orientation for the sake of pleasing us. Having Garrus and Tali as LIs was a bit too much to be honest and obviously put in to please fans only

I'm a big fan of Zevran, and what is the first word I hear about him? GAAAAAAYYYY!!! Not about funny lines or interesting background ever. Same with Sky. I've ever heard "GAAAYYY!" adressed to Kaidan. Interesting that when asking same local (southern Russia) young guys about Leliana, answer is always "CUTE!!!!"

You could always recruit Morinth and then when Thane is on his death bed, grant him a good way to die.

Except I got the impression that Morinth may have been lying about her condition causing "unimaginable ecstasy" for her victims before they died.

I'm not sure why you would differentiate between friend or romance when it comes to what a dying man needs to help him cope.

As Sorrel said; my uncle has OI (vrolik's syndrome) and from what he tells me, sex isn't a problem.



As for Joker and Shep being friends: I've had romantic relationships evolve from friendships. They were the ones that lasted, yanno. Besides, I think there are plenty of hints that Joker is interested in Shep. All in all I think Joker is highly likely as a LI, but if Bioware include him, they should let me and Sorrel write the romance. We haz Joker down to a science.



And there is but ONE character on the Normandy I don't think should EVER become a LI.



Grunt! DX He. is. a. baby. FFS. I don't care that he's a Krogan, I'm sure there are people who dig that, and honestly if I got to woo Wrex, I would. Just. Not Grunt. DX

I'm surprised by the people who think Garrus is an inappropriate LI. I mean, the physical aspect is easily overcome by the fact that Mordin has information, meaning it's not the first time human/turian relations have occured before. Too, it's obvious there's more than just a one-night stand feeling going on. Because when he finally shows up, he's nervous and jittery. If this was just about "blowing off steam" I'd expect a more casual attitude.

Admittedly, I am horribly biased in his favor, so take what I say with a grain of salt

She might have goaded him into it, but a man sweet-talking in Jacob's distinctive way would bear close watching and probably sedadtion ofr very valid medical reasons.


As for "better not as an LI"

- Kasumi :  Cute and nigh perfect the way she is, even if she has a crush on Jacob of all things.

- Wrex and Grunt :  go populate Tuchanka, not cause problems by mangling femSheps

- any Volus, Hanar, Salarian, Elcor .. I would also include Turians and Drells if they were not actually available as LIs already :    I fail to see the attraction (yeah, narrow-minded me ) , one might even wonder where an alien race would stand on reprocution as a pleasurable pasttime.

- Jack : damaged goods already and probably the last thing she needs is a relationship forged under stress

- Tali : Certainly a creepy attraction on her part and probably deadly to her.... if Shep actually loves her, he would keep her environmental suit tightly sealed

- Kaidan/Ashley : would become either utterly ridiculous or soapy in the extreme after the events on Horizon.
