I like Garrus as a LI yeah he's very jittery but if it was a little better written it could've been rather cute I think as a LI he's a really good choice he's very loyal, and he's always been there and he has a great strong personality I actually wanted to romance him in 1 and was really surprised that I finally could in 2.



Same with Tali a logical relationship pick by BW in 1 I actually thought of her as nothing but a friend to my Mshep then Kelly says, " Hey Tali's really interested in you" and I was blown away and like YES a good thing to comeout of my no longer having Liara as my LI. Liara broke my shep's heart to have someone so supportive and nice as Tali to want to be with him was a win for me at least.



So yes to these two as continued, expanded on, and enriched LIs in 3



As far as any new NO LI to add I've run out.

Hey, if femshep can beat up the Shadow Broker, I think she can take a little Krogan loving (other things my femshep has hit with melee attacks: Krogan, Geth Prime, Harbringer).

Hey, for characters who we think are better off as not LIs--just don't romance them. PRESTO, no LI!



Granted, with certain characters it takes a lot of effort to friendzone them. I still can't bring myself to be quite mean enough to Liara to avoid her first romance conversation--though I do let her down gently then. However, I have figured out how to avoid the Kaidan romance trap and the pervy FemShep dialogue with Jacob (after much trial and error), and found myself liking both characters considerably more as a result. I actually felt a bit bad about virmiring Kaidan this last time.

If i had to pick one person to never be a love interst. it would defintly be Anderson. Even if someone finds him extremely attractive. he is still like a father to shepard and to MOST people...sex with parents is a bad thing


On the other hand, i would love if Chakwas wanted to get physical... even if she was wasted

That happened to me too, actually.  With Kaidan, I spent half the game trying to gently friendzone him, but once I got him there I started to really like his character.  Same thing with Ash: awful romance, but awesome non-romantic dialogue.

Personally, I think there should be more stuff like Samara, where the character's just not interested in you.  Imagine, for instance, a female turian...

Shep: So I heard turian ladies are known for their flexibility.
FemTurian: I see where this is going, and it's a bad idea.
Shep: Aw, come on!  I think I could handle it.
FemTurian: It has teeth, Shepard.

[awkward pause]

Shep: By it, do you mean...?
FemTurian: Yes.  That.

[awkward pause]

Shep: .... I should go.
