Agree with everything you said. The BioWare apologists are too loyal to really talk about the shortcomings this game is more than likely to have. That leaves the realists here. We're the ones being labeled doomsayers and having our threads locked as part of a PR campaign by the moderators to silence anyone that obviously knows Dragon Age 2 is being half assed and rushed.

Or, and this might be a real shock, so get ready for it, we might just like these features. I know, crazy idea, right? How could anyone like these features? Clearly we are brainless automatons bred in a vat for the purpose providing affirmative feedback for a Bioware game.

I know I often buy games I dislike vehemtly, crying myself to sleep that the doomsayers were right, but at the same time being overwhelemed by compulsion to remain loyal to a company that gives me nothing I want.

OH GOD, They're becoming self aware!!!

Just kidding.  Honestly, its more of a severe difference of opinion.  I don't like these features (so far as I've heard of them), and you do.

I've heard this line of nonsense before. Nobody ever seems to be able to point out even one thread that didn't deserve to be locked.

Exactly.  There's maybe one or two topics that haven't been locked but overall the vast majority of them deserved to be locked.

Agreed.  If there were any truth to these claims at all, this thread would have been locked.

Really, why do people act as if you can't alter your companions in any way? You'll still be able to change the stats of their armour how you please. It's only the appearance that largely remains the same.

Isn't it obvious? The same look the entire game is stupid. There is no diversity and no customization involved that is noticeable except for an invisible number we call "stats". Dull. I believe ME2 got slammed on the polls for companions not having more appearances. At least when I looked. It certainly did in my poll.

Not to mention some of the characters will probably take traits from ME2 which will have them in gear that no sane person would fight in. If you recall Miranda wore a skimpy skintight latex suit which any bullet can pierce. Isabella's outfight is the same way, but her character is more of a evade type of fighting style rather than bulky armor that absorbs blows. I understand trying to balance sexy and realistic, but let's pray they don't go over the top on that, too. I don't want companions who wear pajamas into combat.

Problem was that it had less total guns than most FPSs...

Total guns? I'd agree with you.
Gun classes? I'd... sort of agree with you.
"Feel" of the guns? I'd disagree.

Eh, that's really not a very good indication of anything. You're asking people to compare something that is readily quantifiable (enjoyment of choosing cloths) to something that really is not (extent to which it adds to characterisation).

Any poll with that as a question has built in bias.

And polls tend to be quite small in the large scale of things. Even a post with 1000+ voters would still be a very very small minority and who won wouldn't represent the large scale.

True! Sample size is crucial. You're also asking on a forum where only people with extreme opinions are likely to convirge, adding another layer of bias.

Where did you get the idea that there is a new inventory system? It is the same as in DAO, haven't you all seen the screen shots? The only difference is that now Companions will have all of their gear packed into a sets, and restricted to them. You still get new sets of armor, the same way you would in DAO.
