BioWare didn't even bother to RESKIN the damn Templar Helmet. It's the EXACT same Helmet. EXACT. It's not similar, it's CONGRUENT.

This is a goddamn screwjob and a slap in our faces, seeing as that the model that looks similar to the Bergen's Honor helmet is already in-game, called "Duty".. Seriously? A F*cking templar helmet?

Calm down kiddo it's only a game  Theres quite a few examples of where Bioware have been a tad lazy but really reskinning one helmet isn't a big deal.. is it?

It is a big deal if they are giving it out as a bonus for buying the CE it would only taken a day to make a new model the the player that bought the CE could show off to all those that only bought the regular version.
This is the reason that I canceled my per-order of the CE and bought the regular digital download. the extra 15 bucks just didn't justify what was included. pLus I figured that I would be able to make any Items that I wanted with the toolset.

You do realise that these are retail specific items made through deals with EA, and BioWare didn't have the time or inclination to come up with brand new models just to suit one collector's item not everyone is going to get?

Its a bonus item exactly, not a game feature.

Show off? well that mentality tells us all a lot about you... lol it doesnt even appear on your forum avatar and there will undoubtably be better helmets available to most other players at some point in the game. I'd never look at someone who'd spent extra money for a few bonus items with envy.

Ah...are you the same guy from GameFAQS? Heh, I don't think this is a big deal at all considering this is one of the best games to come around in a very long time. Of all the things to complain about, it's the look of a single piece of armor. The helmet has great stats on it and a bit overpowered as it is. Honestly though, if you care about how you look - why would you run around in your best gear all the time?



Very rarely is your best gear the most attractive. Personally, I waste at least two backpacks for "RP" gear that I prefer seeing my character in. This helmet is mostly for fighting and stats. Just because it doesn't have a different skin doesn't mean you should be upset and ask for a refund. The game itself is so rewarding that your collector's edition is more of a donation in hopes they create more games of this caliber.

I'm more upset about the false marketing than the item itself. I'm wearing Grey Warden's Helmet at the moment, which is not the strongest piece of armor around, but it fits my armor well..



It's not the item's looks nor stats that disappoint me, but rather the fact that they used false marketing, and not to mention reused the exact same model of a helmet(when the irony is that Duty is how Bergen's Honor was marketed as, and hence is already in the game itself)...

Okay, its important to keep in mind that you if you bought the CE you DID NOT pay for the items. Obviously you were paying for the metal tin, bonus disk, cloth map, and the Game.



Did you really think (th3warr1or) that you would be using the CE bonus items, or any pre-order bonus items throughout the ENTIRE game?



I sure hope not, i can understand the Blood Dragon armour cause its f-ing SWEET!!!!!!!. Talk about L33T.



So just relax, a b-item that resembles one that is allready in the game is not big deal.



And btw, the Bonus disk is SO WORTH the extra $15. The soundtrack itself is amazing, besides having everything you could want on it. Ive allready created some kick-**** cutscenes, using music from the OST. Way to go Bioware!!!!!!!

Poor baby you have a item you only get in the CE but instead of enjoying the item you have to find something to complain about.  So what if it is not a reskin.  It is a bunch of pixels on your screen.  It is a nice item to have that people who did not buy the CE did not get.  Be happy you got a special item for ordering the CE.

As a matter of fact, I did not. If I hold up a Canon Ixus 12Megapixels, and say "SELLING DIGITAL CAMERA for 100bucks", then when someone pays me, I give him a cheap digital camera... that IS defrauding.

BioWare or EA advertised the Bergen's Honor as it was, and gave another item.

I understand the guys point, I was a little suprised when I put it on. By the way it isn't as awesome as a certain helmet in a certain other DLC. I never actually used the Blood Dragon helmet anyway the big red glare from the eyesocket was just weird. I was expecting something more than just the templar helmet aswell. It just would have been nice if the icon matched the 3dmodel, like most of the icons do for metal armors. Anyway it might be considered nitpicking for those who don't care but it is a valid point.

  I don't think its that big of a deal but i understand where he is going. I mean I'm not shocked, look at capcom they charge u for content on the disk, Halo, CoD carge you $15 every couple of months. It's not oging to change sadly gaming will never be what it used to. Maybe they just ran out of time forgot to do a once over?  lol i doubt it but oh well so we got screwed!
