First of all, I'm thrilled to see I'm not the only one left playing BG2. That said, I've some questions.

I've played the BG and IWD series of games for a long time but only recently did I discover how fun mods could be. I installed The Darkest Day and I'm enjoying the return of Xzar (not Montaraon, he sucks, just Xzar) but I want to know: how many mods can I install?

I saw a few other mods that'd compliment me well. Such as Travelers in Time: Tortured Souls that I'd love to download. But I don't particularly want to keep swapping mods and starting new games for every mod I want to try. So how much third party content can I run at the same time? Will some mods react to each other better then others? I'm just looking for ways to expand the already huge game that is BG2. Also...they offer more support for evil characters then the base game which is pretty fun. Information? Thanks.

The number of mods doesn't really matter. What matters is:
- mod compatability
- install order.
To be on the safe side, you'd best use either of the next two options:

- Big World Project. Tries to integrate Bg1,Soa and ToB in one big seamless game. Here's the manual: http://www.shsforums...ds&showfile=534

You can choose a fully automated install, but you can also manually install the mods you want and just follow the recommended install order of BWP.

- Tutu: http://forums.gibber...?showtopic=8122. Allows you to play Baldurs Gate1 using the SoA game engine. You'll have to install the mods manually, again following the recommended install order.

You can of course combine both options. Use option 2 for your BG1 install, then pick the mods you want for SoA/ToB from option 1.
