Before volunteering, I'd recommend playing Alpha 1.1 and perhaps giving some feedback. While most of the dialogue is finalized, there are one or two scenes that I'd be willing to tweak for the final version of Act I dialogue.

Scars of War Act I Character List
Note: most have slight english accents unless noted otherwise.

Main Characters:
Morgan (Player) (Gender chosen by player)
Tone varies slightly by player choice. Usually neutral unless something dramatic is happening.
- Came to investigate a conspiracy out of either a sense of duty or need to distiguish themselves from their heroic father. Usually ends up as the "straight man" who keeps the plot moving forward.
Heather
Usually either reserved or bitter, sometimes sarcastic.
- Usually prefers to keep to herself. Daughter of a minor noble family from the Free Marches, where she used to have it made. Her family screwed everything up, and now she wants to make her family name respectable again. Extremely bitter and often ends up brooding over what happened. She can focus when she thinks that something might get her family name remembered. Usually more pragmatic than what might be expected, but sometimes loses sight of the real goal.
Owen
Slightly more formal tone than might be expected, but not "gentleman" formal.
- Near-vigilante apostate hunter. Unintentionally acts like a badass sometimes. He's been given almost free reign by the templars for his work, and he's begun to take that freedom for granted.
Sister Merelle
What one might expect from a chantry sister.
- Sister Merelle has known Owen for years, and has travelled with him as he hunts down apostates. While she respects many of the teachings of the Chantry, she secretly has fallen in love with Owen. She is able to keep her feelings under control in most circumstances, but might let slip under extreme conditions.

Major Characters:
Ser Ferrin
Average guardsman kind of voice. (Think sergeant Kylon from DAO.)
- Only a small role in Act I, will appear in his full role in Act II.
Ser Armand
A bit condescending, especially early on. Doesn't trust easily.
- Ser Armand has only a short role at the end of Act I, most of his role is being written for Act II.
Rose
Very slight French accent mixed with the dominant English accent (if possible, otherwise english), as if she moved to Ferelden at a young age. Naive and idealistic.
- Voice actress should be able to speak in condescending and world-weary manners as well, in the same general voice. This will make more sense in Acts II and III.
Martin
Light Italian or Spanish accent. Dismissive.
- Main antagonist of Act I. He's not really all that interested in the PC, which is a bad move. He thinks he's got it covered, but isn't really all that prepared.

Dareth
Only appears in the opening of Acts I and II. Average bartender/innkeeper.
Dockworkers (1 male, 1 female)
Bit role, only a few lines each.
