Samara does not consider corruption a crime worthy of extra-judicial execution, the code does. We don't know to what extent it does, and we don't know much of anything about what the code says specifically. The implication of what *Samara* says when she submits her actions to your will is pretty clearly that if you make her do anything against her code of killing people, in other words if you make her kill innocents, she will have to kill you later. Because, as far as we know, and like you have brought up many times, the Code only concerns who to kill and who not to kill.

She does not say, "If you do anything too dishonourable," she says, "if you make me do anything too dishonourable."

Even though the Code forces her to kill people for dishonourable acts, she has put that aside for a mission. The Code does allow for addressing greater threats, greater corrupt entities over lesser ones. There is room for discretion in the Code, however harsh and unreasonable it is. Just like any other form of law.  Just like any other form of law, it has enforcement (through the justicars), and while it has no direct oversight the very harshness of the code makes it prohibitive to dangerous people who would be hypocritical about the Code, or use it to get into acts of wanton slaughter.  Which is certainly possible.

I would ask for you to justify deciding that, at any point in the game, Shepard - specifically Paragon Shepard - is in a dishonorable fight.   But I doubt you would care to justify that, because there would be no fallacy of logic for you to accuse me of and thus openly ignore my argument rather than quietly ignore it.

Also, it would be somewhat pointless to ask for justification because it still seems like a justified response to her harshness.   I just like arguing.

My Shepard always kill Morinth, sorry girl, even I agree you have one hell of a lifestyle but your mother is more of a stable element.

You know what? Same reasons I left the last thread are why I'm not going to bother continuing this argument with you.

Congratulations, Moiaussi. You won. Your clearly convincing arguments, hyperbole, strawmen, reducto ad absurdum fallacies, never supplied mitigating factors, and most importantly your endurance have won the argument.

Yay.

Translation: When challenged on any actual facts, be it details of the Justicar code, or pretty much anything else you either keep talking through your hat or pretend backing up your opinions with anything substantial is not worth your time, while maintaining you were speaking fact.

If you think I (or anyone else) was using strawmen or other fallacies, proove them so, don't just declare them so, dismiss them, and when pressed for proof claim I (or anyone else) was somehow being unfair to you.

I don't disagree with everything you say (for example I agree that a tie in between BDtS and the ME2 missile crisis would have worked well). It isn't a vendetta. Just pressing you to back up your words or admit you are merely citing opinion and accept that others aren't going to agree with you simply because you say something.

Ideally there would be a way to reform Morinth, but that seems unlikely. How does one incarcerate a powerful biotic safely anyway? Put them on ice ala Jack, with no chance of rehibilitation and thus for all intents and purposes dead anyway?

Samara never kills you in ME2.

Morinth can.

Morinth could have a bright future as a death row executioner

Stazro, nice post! And very true.

Thanks. It seems you are the only one who actually read it. I should have thought of that before I made the effort.

I think Death by Snu Snu is the best idea evar. In some ways it's more humane than any other type of death sentence. When the prisoner goes in, they find themselves wanting to submit to the sentence.

Also, "Death by Snu Snu" has a certain ring to it.

Although it might not be very interesting to morinth.

Samara, every time except my all-renegade-all-the-time play through, which is just there to see what happens.

Samara wants to help the innocent.

Morinth is a serial killer who admits to taking joy in the destruction of another person (when you talk to her about things in her apartment)
