Remember, the Empire was livable for most under Lord Vader's and the what's his name's rule. Maybe it wasn't the nicest place and certainly not safe to voice a dissenting point of view, but one could certainly make a living and prosper. I see no reason why a bad guy winning the day has to be the end of the world. Just less just, less nice and pleasant (for any with a point of view that doesn't fawn over the ruler or rules) and less easy to make your way from poverty to riches.

Sounds like the start of a great new series of adventures to take back the power.

Things stagnated for thousands of years under the Jedi, since at least the time of the Old Republic, with no real advancement in blasters, droids, sabers, spaceships etc.

They may have been stagnant, but it was a *nice* stagnant.

Not for arms companies.

Heck, there's another idea. The world is too peaceful, and your weapons-making corporation is worried about their bottom line. Time to create some conflict!

Chaos Wielder seems to have disappeared from the Vault, here (can't click on his name), his blog (which no longer exists). Hopefully all is well.

CW just posted here a few weeks ago, encouraging people to release their tarrasque community project content, if they wish to. I hope everything is OK.

<wondering as...>

Is the tarrasque community project safely published, or is that another group project to be salvaged?

The Tarrarasque project never reached fruition. Just the SOZ holiday project, which we've already discussed via PM>

I hope that's the reason and if so good luck to him, there's more to life than pixels,

Luckily I only bought a computer when my daughter was born otherwise she might not exist !
