Once again my apologies, I didn't know how seriously my error was to which I throw myself on the floor and beg for the mercy of this court!
I understand the idea of wanting to feel like you have achieved somthing by successfuly romancing someone in-game. Althrough usually it isn't a challenge.. and all that it offers is a subplot for your character. A companion to spend some time with.
For people who don't wish to have a character attached it'd be kind of irritating to miss out on some talent points if you decide to not romance somebody but right?
Either way. Lol, welcome to the boards. I Imagine the romaces will be similar to Jade Empire if not a little more story driven. I wonder if we'll be able to get both women like you could in JE >.>

eh well... maybe Morrigan is more masculine in her approach to "bumpin". Some women aren't into the talking and cuddling thing. It doesn't HAVE to be something sinister for Morrigan....
Her mother accuses her of using it for manipulation. Whether this is a fair accusation or not is, of course, not known to us at this time.

You have gained influence with Morrigan.
you spend the night with Morrigan.
You have contracted Hep C.
Any character you create will now have Hep C.
You are Officially ****ed. ROFL

I will probably romance Morrigan and I'd actually hate it if I'd change her attitude. Friendship has no meaning, power has meaning.
On the other side, I wouldn't like a forced attack on me, for the sake of Morrigan loving power. Ah, I don't know what I would like, but I guess I'll see.

Personally I play games to do things I can't do in real life...like strap on a sword and go gulumphing through the woods killing orcish like things. If I want "romance" I'll go climb on my mans lap and give him some nuzzles.

I actually wish there was some sort of reason for "romancing" the NPC's beyond Rping. Quest lines that open up or something, hopefully there will be. If not I will pretty much ignore them.

Things you can't do in real life...like romancing other men than your own? :innocent:

Liesure suit larry was always getting STD's.. some that could kill him in minutes. Seems like there's another game besides Fable and Larry that had condoms and STD's but I can't remember what it was.

The *point* of sex with followers is allowing your PC to express physical and emotional intimacy with someone they care for. It’s a role-playing game, and I like that it supports healthy human sexuality.
Your idea of "healthy human sexuality" is ogre sex? You scare me.
Hey, Ogres need some lovin' too right? =P
Two Ogres, one Broodmother. A world of extremely hideous possibilities.

Perhaps they could turn it into a mini-game like in GoW? This is a RPG afterall.

All jokes aside, here's my point. From what I've seen, once you have intimacy with your partner it seems like there's no added effect or bonus at all. I'm not saying that your character should have a star-twinkling aura or anything signifying the event; however, I wish that there would be more purpose. It could be something as simple as additional talent points! (Get laid and get 2 points for free!)
M&M's come out of my
How about a cookie for talking to me?
