In game, heck no. This isn't a parenting sim. After game, during credits or epilogue, it might make for a nice feel good ending, but it should be vague and open to interpretation. A pregnant LI would make for a dramatic storyline, giving Shep extra incentive to save the galaxy, but it would be too out of character for ME I think.

No, nyet, non, nuh uh, don't even go there. I don't want it as a scripted event or an option. First of all, not everyone pictures their Shepard having children in the first place. If anyone out their wants their Shepard to want children, that's fine, but my Shepards aren't interested, and I don't want that forced on me and mine. Second, between some LI's being incapable of reproducing, either at all or just with Shepard, the fact that I find it unlikely that Shepard's parts can still do that after the resurrection, and how they've spent the last two games focusing on saving the galaxy, with all the LIs fully understanding the importance of the mission, reproduction is probably the last thing they're focusing on, all of them would probably be in a 'this is the worst time ever to have kids' mindset. Especially when on top of that, are they REALLY going to raise them on the Normandy?

If people want their Shepards to have kids, that's what fanfic's for. But please, let's keep it out of the game proper.

Save it for the epilogue. Have some in-game dialogue with the final LI that determines the fate of their relationship. If they decide to make it permanent, and they both survive, the epilogue states that they got married. For Ashley, Kaidan, Liara, Jacob, Jack, or Male!Shep/Kelly (using just the existing LIs), they get a child. Garrus, Tali, and Thane couldn't produce a child due to being cross-species, and Miranda is barren.

Shepard's life at the moment is far too risky to bring a child into play.
