Deus Ex 3 is going to be on consoles as well. So you'll want to cross that off the list.

They're also looking into getting The Witcher 2 on consoles as well, so clearly you'll want to be very suspicious of that one.

I said consolised not titles that are on consoles. The main platform in TW 2 is PC obviosly.



Deus Ex 3 looks a lot like the original Deus Ex, even better maybe, and not like that crap Deus Ex 2.

LMAO. Okay, so let me get this straight: on a list that's supposed to contain only good RPGs, you're actually listing GW2 and Tera? They're both MMOs that will likely have nothing even remotely close to a good, solid story like you get in a single-player RPG. Oh, and let me link this Tera vid (sorry, go copy & paste it if you want to look):



Now all the nice people who accuse DA2 of somehow having gone all anime/JRPG should look at this and take note that Tera actually bears a much closer resemblance to JRPGs and anime than DA2 ever has or ever will. Futhermore, the women all seem to be even more scantily clad than Isabela and more well-endowed than Bethany.

And you think this game actually qualifies as a "good" RPG? I find you tastes highly dubious if you actually put GW2 and Tera on that list. Oh and a quote from the Deus Ex: Human Revolution site:

A perfect mix of action and role-play: the game uniquely combines action-packed close-quarter takedowns with intense shooting, offering a vast array of character augmentations and upgrades for the many weapons at your disposal.

Oh, and on the Deus Ex site, I see some logos on the page - I believe you might be familiar with them: PS3 and xBox (heck, I think they're even showing the PSP symbol). It's a bit hypocritical to act like DA2 has been turned into a consolized abomination, when clearly at least one game on your list A) defines itself as an aRPG and also is going to appear on consoles.

Hmm. That's quite the list. But it's a good plan to only spend money on things that you think is worth the money. I hope you'll get your money's worth of enjoyment out of those games. Good luck.

Looks like someone doesn't know **** about GW2.



I don't know much about Tera to be honest. It uses the Crysis engine and it looks great from what I've seen so far.



Deus Ex 3 also looks amazing, a great throwback to the original PC game.



Deus Ex also had tense fights, if you chose too, or you could just sneak/hack your way trough. 3 offers the same option.

What do you mean those are all the good? You know any good RPG that's not coming to PC? Only i can think of is Project Dark, the Demon Souls devs new project.

ugh, someone lock this thread... hate threads, be it on consoles or pcs are not permitted in the forum and for good reason.

edit: it might have not started that way but by this point it's pretty clear it's going in that direction.

Bioware chose their audience, screwed PC gamers up the ***, I see little reason to buy DA II honestly.

The combat looks like Dynasty Warrirors and it looks dull as ****.

The world looks ugly and barren, too much brown or gray.

The artstyle is a disgrace.

The characters will probably be interesting, but that's about it.

I'm mainly excited about the Witcher 2! Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, Gears of war 3, Need for speed hot persuit, Gothic 4, Diablo 3. =D

There are so many good games coming out. I'll pass on DA2 it doesn't appeal to me, I'll save my pennys for other games. I have a long list.

Gothic 4 is baaad trust me. Avoid it. Two Worlds 2 looks better, it has a couple of 9/10 reviews. Sleeper hit of the year. The game is out where i live i plan on picking it up.Keep an eye on it.

regenerating health, 3rd person camera, "takedowns", no picklocks/mutitools.....hmph...a great throwback to the insides of my pelvic colon.
