Nah, i only use my PS3 to play games like UFC or Fifa with friends. Or Uncharted 2.


And yes i agree with you. We've seen enough of the game i think.

Indeed...personalized story info and other cool stuff is right there on their web page Not to mention how GW1 campaigns already had their own stories.

Still, it's on my MMO list, not on my fantasy RPG list. Like, now I play WoW cos there's nothing else but I have played Oblivion and Fallout: New Vegas on the side cos' the experience is totally different. I don't count them as the same.

Eventually GW2 will replace WoW for me but I will still play: Dragon Age 2 and Diablo 3, eventually Mass Effect 3. Oh and Witcher 2. And yes, I will buy them all.

I don't get why anyone would list 10+ games they're going to buy and then whine how they aren't interest in DA2. Just don't buy it then, what do you expect Bioware to do? Give out DA2 for free? The main reason I only go for well know, guaranteed quality titles is the fact that I simply don't have hundreds of spare euros to spend on games that could be complete and utter crap. And if you REALLY want to spend the money on all those 10+ games then do so. It's YOUR choice.

That's another game you should look out for, Uncharted 3. I think there in the process of making it.

The combat looks like Dynasty Warrirors and it looks dull as ****.

I like how all the bad things you list are things that I consider irrelevent to making a good rpg and the one good thing you list l consider the second most importent thing, the first being compelling story.

Not that your view of an rpg should be that, it just made me laugh is all, I mean when the worse things about a game to someone else are the least importent things to you its time to be happy right?

Okay i've spent the last 10 second thinking about this.......... but I just can't see how this relates to DA2, plus obvious flamebaiting of console gamers is obvious.

Now people are judging/hating games that are not even out now! What how dare you!

My point is, that everybody is allowed to judge a game by what they've seen and heard, and I've heard/seen enough of DA2 to know I won't like it.

I was mistaken it's not out yet. By the end of this month it will be out in Europe. I got confused because there are a lot of adds for it i thought it was out.

Biowares stories are mostly crap. They do compelling characters well but that's it.


And I think all games should have good storylines, but that's not the most important. I can play Torchlight for hours and it doesn't have any story or dialogue, it's just fun on it's own gameplay. You can't be like...I'm gona rush trough this gameplay crap just to see what happens in the generic done to death story.


Also, Combat, World, and Artstyle are irrelevant? Why don't Bioware make a conversation simulation now. You can have all the time in the world talking to characters.

Agreed. Hell, I'm somewhat of a PC elitist in the sense that I refuse to touch a console. There's a PS3 sitting in our living room but I simply refuse to touch it other than watching DVDs. Well OK, I did play Half-Life 2 once and at least my fiancé had fun while watching me try to jump on top of a train cart. I sucked so bad in using the game pad that I kept jumping too long or too short, took me 10 tries to get on that damn cart.

And still I've even played Soul Reaver games back during the day. Playing those games with a keyboard was insanely frustrating at first but I played them because I enjoyed the game, console conversion or not.

Same goes for ME and DA. In which the conversion is hardly noticeable, IMO.

Yes, but why bother with it when TW2 will destory it in every way, storywise included, and you don't have to look at the ugly combat or the ugly world. TW2 is the best looking RPG ever made, maybe one of the best looking games ever made.

Yes but why put up with console coversion, ugly world, consolised combat, when you can play PC games from real PC developers who make their game with love, instead of dumbing everything down just so they can sell a few copies. 

The main goal of the Witcher 2 is : Improve everything that was wrong with the first game.

Biowares goal seems to be to dumb down everything that might seem complicated to the average casual gamer and sell more copies.

So...? The Witcher was action role playing from the start, it didn't became an action game so it can betray it's fanbase in the hope that it will sell more copies.  and it's action role playing meant for PC. If PC gamers should support any game it's TW2 .

then why are you're here? if you're so adamant about supporting the witcher franchise you can perfectly do that in the witcher forums.

So, if a game has awfull combat, is good to reiterate and get even worse with the sequel adding QTE?

I even liked TW but because of people like you, I think that I will buy TW2 when the price will drop (and the game is patched btw).

Nope. I have the normal eddition and the enhanced eddition.

I also have DA, without Awakening.

And it's too much work, i have the casing god knows where and I'm probably  gonna get banned too.
