Too many good PC RPG's in 2011 to care about consolised titles.

Yes but why put up with console coversion, ugly world, consolised combat, when you can play PC games from real PC developers who make their game with love, instead of dumbing everything down just so they can sell a few copies.
The main goal of the Witcher 2 is : Improve everything that was wrong with the first game.
Biowares goal seems to be to dumb down everything that might seem complicated to the average casual gamer and sell more copies.
I take it you're having an utterly boring college lecture or simply nothing to do with your time and life other that trolling with a trolling-purpose profile with no registered games on it? A bit sad TBH. Hope someone locks this soon.

Yes, but why bother with it when TW2 will destory it in every way, storywise included, and you don't have to look at the ugly combat or the ugly world. TW2 is the best looking RPG ever made, maybe one of the best looking games ever made.
Yes, with a very deep action combat that will feature (timed) button mashing and QTE, DA2 should really fear the wrath of TW2.
So...? The Witcher was action role playing from the start, it didn't became an action game so it can betray it's fanbase in the hope that it will sell more copies. and it's action role playing meant for PC. If PC gamers should support any game it's TW2 .
So, if a game has awfull combat, is good to reiterate and get even worse with the sequel adding QTE?
I even liked TW but because of people like you, I think that I will buy TW2 when the price will drop (and the game is patched btw).
That's funny because reviewers praised the combat for being dynamic and daring. QTE is what the combat was in the Witcher honestly. You can't complain that they're dumbing it down now, when you were doing QTE trough the first one. I doubt this one will come with bugs. CD-Projekt knows what they're doing ,every preview from TW 2 looks downright incredible, while everything from DA II looks like ****.

Here's an idea, if you like TW 2 so much, go post on the TW 2 forums. You've had nothing nice to say since you started posting on these forums, I can't figure out why you want to be here, quite frankly.
took the words right out of my mouth:P
"then why are you're here? if you're so adamant about supporting the witcher franchise you can perfectly do that in the witcher forums."

I'm just pointing out PC gamers don't have to suffer lazy ports, ugly world, and terrible combat when there are better alternatives.

Instead I want to know if I will get my special edition that time. I mean, I really love how CDRed screwed me with a game bugged as Vampire Bloodlines and that call the patch... the Special Edition. I mean... people bought it too. Many bought the special edition to say thanks to CrRed because they have... patched and optimized the thing.
Bioware should really learn something from CD-Red: marketing and PC elitists mindset.

Looks like someone doesn't know **** about GW2.
I don't know much about Tera to be honest. It uses the Crysis engine and it looks great from what I've seen so far.
Deus Ex 3 also looks amazing, a great throwback to the original PC game.
Deus Ex also had tense fights, if you chose too, or you could just sneak/hack your way trough. 3 offers the same option.
I've heard about the GW2 manifesto, and I have read up on the game. God knows people bombard the TOR forums touting it or trying to troll there. So far, from what I've seen and read of GW2 (I've watched the trailers too), I'm not really impressed yet. They say they'll have a "story" and a living world where your character (hypothetically) affects the world. However, it sounds an awful lot like the phasing system in WoW (based on what I read in the Dynamic Events Overview). Whether or not it works well and they actually make the GW2 world feel alive remains to be seen.
To date however, no MMORPG has ever had anything even loosely resembling a satisfying storyline where your character does have a lasting impact and truly changes the world - like you would in a single-player game.
I cited existing materials....and you resorted to expletives. Convincing counterpoint you have there - not.
I think your list is flawed and that it is indicative of hypocrisy. I know the history of Deus Exa and am familar with it. Whether or not the third game will be good, we don't know. Even though Square-Enix is clearly involved, I'm willing to give DE3 the benefit of the doubt atm based on the past games in the series. Yes, even despite the fact that FFXIV was a huge disaster for them (I've read that they might have to go to F2P), I'll take a wait and see approach.
It's obvious that you consider DA2 to be horribly consolized and were trying to make a point with your post, and I merely showed that, in fact, DE3 is clearly going to be going to be marketed to console users as well - just like DA2. Oh yes, here's a gameplay link for DE3:
http://www.computera...e.php?id=259902
Now, hmm, funny thing - it seems to be operating along the same lines as ME2 with a whole lot of action. I'm not one of those people who minds aRPGs, and I'll give any game a fair shake, so genre is a non-issue for me. There may even be tons of customization with implants, etc. in DE3 as they say in their blurbs, but again: it is an aRPG, which is one of the very things you seem to rail against when it comes to the DA2 chabges (and at least DA2 will retain the tactical combat on the PC that we had before - supposdly).

You can bash on the first game all you want I don't care. If you're too blind to see how much more amazing TW2 looks from DA II it's not my concern. Just see the preivews. Everything from graphics to story to combat to looks better in TW.

I like what I'm seeing from TW2 so far. Even if I didn't, I wouldn't be on the CD Projekt forums making an ass out of myself.
It's the reason I'm not on the TOR forum talking about how I wish the thing was like SWG. You should try it.

Same thing about DA2 review. They are mostly positive. But you like to read what you like, just for the sake of trolling I assume.
I'm pretty sure that TW2 will be full of bugs... I mean on NWN2 scale. But because they love PC gamers they make us a patch and sell it to person like you as the "enhanced edition". So you'll pay twice, but get a lot of PC love.

What? They never charaged people that bought the based version for upgrading/patching to the newest editions. I bought the witcher when it first came and just the other day I fully updated (again) it to the directors cut version, all free. Sure they are going to sale the newest versions, do you want the to keep publshing the based un patched/graded version?

I'm just saying that many very smart PC players have bought the game twice to thanks CD-Red... because you know... they have patched the thing.
I have nothing against selling the patched game. But please, don't call patching "the enhanced edition" because it's an insult to my intelligence. Or for coherence you should have called the first one "TW: The Broken Edition".

How are they smart if they bought the same game twice? If they where "smart" they would have figured out it was the same game but enchanced/ patched version of it . CDred also told people they where going to allow people to upgrade to those editions free. Besides it was more then a patch, they went back and re did alot of the diolauge, new voice actors, ect for every lanague version. So yeah it was actualy enchanced in some aspect.
Broke means it didnt' work, it worked, it was just really slow loading at times. So don't tell me what to call it.
I apologize to others for keeping this troll post alive and futher turning this into a witcher post.. on DA2.
