Maybe I should try higher difficulty , but I really dont like to die too often  Triss is very hot though

yeah i'm going to reserve my judgment until i beat the entire game whether it's that same kind of "simplified" or not, or if the beginning chapters are just unbalanced compared to the first witcher

I'm in Act II now and it's still bloody BRILLIANT.

Better than DAII? Yes, it's bloody epic. (Even though I'm not as connected to Geralt as to my Lady Hawke) I love 'em equally though. Better than DAO? Yes. Definitely better than DAO.

But Geralt is teh hawtness!

it's....amazing!

I been around in Act 1 doing nothing and keep getting lost because I am farming mats for potions. The game is difficult it's mature it puts DA2 to shame. It's not a cliche story the prologue left in a OH S***! Nothing in DA2 or DA:O for that matter has ever suprised me exept maybe Hawkes mom and her terrible character didn't leave me caring about her death. Unlike the certain person in the Prologue of the Witcher 2.


What happened to the english VO for Iorweth, Kingslayer and Zoltan?! Remember this Iorweth & Kingslayer original VO and Zoltan here those 3 voices sound so much better imo.

I finally got this game installed and working, and when I hit new game the scenes start lagging horribly. Now I'm sad. This is why I don't play PC games on my piece of **** computer....

If you have atleast a dual core CPU, you can pick up a Geforce GTX 460 for really cheap (if your comp does PCI Express) And ram is cheap too, so add some extra!

I have no idea what you just said after CPU . I'm not very tech savvy these days.


But I'll probably make a trek to Best Buy or somewhere and ask for that.

It's sad too. I'm not opposed to playing PC games for any reason. I love playing them. I just have very, very bad computer systems that it's not worth the effort. I'm afraid I may have to wait until they make it console available, which means I just spent $50 for a very fancy doorstop.

Depends what forum you're on, check the community site for TW2 and all you'll see is people complaining about technical problems or bashing the game. I'm one such victim who's unable to register his game because of the DRM. :-/

Just finished the Prologue and now in Act1...

I absolutely love this game, I'm getting the hang of the new combat system (still trying to not get keys 2 and 3 mixed up, I might have to change the hotkeys, any suggestions?). Animations (including facial) are superb, the game's pace is perfect (for me), and I love how dialogue works (the characters actually move and show expression unlike the classic BioWare stand-still face to face).

And as for that Foltest scene... man I like Foltest from my experience in TW1 and the encounter in TW2, really hurt our bro-relationship there it did.

So they still haven't fixed that? Good lord, it's been a rocky launch to say the least. I love the game so far, but they really do need to patch the hell out of it. Lag is a very common issue and I hope it can be fixed 100%. On medium- lowish settings it still looks great though, and I'm gratefull for that cause my pc can't handle any higher. 

I sense another Enhanced Edition.

My custom medium settings still look great, I can run it on high but the FPS drops down to the 20 range which makes it clunky.
