Dude, I'm as much a BW fanboy as I am CDPR's, Piranha Bytes', Blizzard's and Bethesda's .. Perhaps even Rockstar's! If you're so close minded as to miss all the good stuff because "there must be only one" ... well, good luck not losing your head!
Whatever are you on about? "Missing out on the good stuff"? My TW2 preorder arrived yesterday.
This is not a "BioWare fanboys vs. CDPR fanboys" thing. It's a "Me vs. all fanboys of anything" thing.

*shrug* It's the only reasonable explanation for why you're so mad that The Witcher 2 is getting great reviews from critics and players.
Why would I be mad about TW2 getting good reviews? See, this is what I'm talking about when I called you "incredibly defensive".

Good for you. Hope you have no issues with the game and enjoy it. Just note that when I say I'm a fanboy, well, I am, I fall in love with some games but I can also exercice my criticism against some lame aspects of some games made by those very same companies. Not teasing on a forum and baiting into a discussion "me vs the world" thing. That is trolling in my books.

Completely agree with you! I'm no fanboy to any side as long as ANY developer prove me with a well made, quality game and i'll be sold. IF CDPR release crappy DLC item pack for $5, i will probably hate them too.

I thought I read somewhere that CDPR would be releasing their DLC for free and only charging for expansion packs. If true, that's awesome.

I *do* appreciate CDPR's efforts to keep its fans up to date, especially with some other developers and producers who don't even acknowledge issues with their games. Between Witcher 2 and Two Worlds, I'm starting to think Europe is doing better RPGs.
You might want to add a 2 after Two Worlds. The original was rather bad. But I agree European devs are doing the better RPGs now, there´s also Dragonknight Saga or the Drakensangs, Risen, etc.
I´m getting the feel of the combat fast despite playing on hard. Yrden is the new Aard, really gives the edge against enemies, and then bombs to deal with groups.
I really must find how to make TW1 work again in my desktop. I don´t want to be with Triss and Adda is dead. Next will be that I killed the Werewolf?

Throwing daggers are the new Aard.
My first encounter with Letho was over in 10 seconds.

@gotthammer: Can you overclock? I also have a bad system, but OC allowed me to get playable frame rates. Also read the performance tips here: www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php

Yup, I've read it, and tweaked stuff accordingly.
As for Overclocking...hehehe. No.
First, the PC isn't mine, even if I am the 'primary' hog...err...user.
Second, the mobo and CPU are over 6 years old (maybe even more than 7 years old...when did the Pentium 4 come out? lol )...so, I don't want to risk it, even if I could.
It's my fault anyway, if I didn't want such a relatively 'high end' system, I could've gotten my own a few months ago...
(current plan is for an i7-2600k, GTX 560 Ti, 4 - 8 GB of RAM, and other stuff)
Oh well, the game is playable...and still quite pretty, despite this PC's shortcomings.
Another thought:
During the prologue (and even in Chapter 1), I keep thinking: man, I wish the DA games (more important for DA2, due to being 'stuck' in one general location) had something that allowed you to see more of your environment and stop and say, "ooh. pretty." (and give you a sense of scale, too)
Looking down from the castle walls in the prologue (toward the mountains and the siege camp), for example, was just great.

Fable 3 is a console port.. and i read some reviews it has pretty..dated visuals and having quite a low review score. If anything it's a little colorful to my taste. I got myself Witcher2 instead. Money well spent.

I'm not a graphics who*re, I admire Fable's stylized look. Stylized graphics always outlives photorealism. Fable 3 will age better than the Witcher 2.Archaven wrote...

Well, that's purely subjective. Fable's look, for me, is bad now and will be even worse in the future.
