:(

Maybe I'll just stop coming to this thread.

I'm planning to take my time with my first playthrough. Still in Act 1.

I'm not a graphics who*re, I admire Fable's stylized look. Stylized graphics always outlives photorealism.

Well, that's purely subjective. Fable's look, for me, is bad now and will be even worse in the future.

It's not subjective, it's fact. Just look at games from the past that tried to be photorealistic and compare them to games that are stylized.

Here you are son, this video is for you.

I haven't found any yet. Best I've come across so far are certain armors that increase the amount of stuff you can carry. Would love to know if there's storage somewhere as well.

There is no storage. Make sure to sell your "junk" but it requires scrolling all items one by one since there is no junk-only tab at the inventory. Also, do not keep too many of the most heavy crafting resources. Like Iron ore, leather and timber. I find myself overcumbered most of the time and I get rid of some of those to be ab le to run again, keeping just enough for an eventual item crafting. They're too easy to find anyway.

Few games gave me the shivers like the crypts of TW1... it was not scary but I always feel that cold wind running by spine in those locations and only in that game actually. The atmosphere, the music, the sonoplasty, all of them, can't say but those are great immersion moments I had. - Please, mini spoiler here, are there such places in TW2? Didn't find anything like them so far but I'm still on Act 1.

Some people say bad things about TW1 VO, I actually liked it (the Polish VO had some sort of reverb effecft that gave it away it was made in an studio while the English sounded very natural to me). But what about the sonoplasty and sound effects? And those little animals/birds/insects running about? I hear lots of dogs at night in TW2 but haven't seen any! Weird! =)

Agreed a stylized look can overcome graphical limitations just look at Borderlands as a recent example.

Has anyone played TOR ? I love the look of the game. Fable III is fine imo but gameplay wise it's lacking. Good thing I borrowed it on xbox.

Ballista erupt sending violence into air

Missiles fueled by the roar of armed men

There is a charge everywhere...Fire, Steel, Smoke, men chanting the name of Foltest

In the name of Foltest war has come to the gates of La Vallette

Aye, TOR has a great style also though some of the shoulder pads are a bit extreme for my tastes. Fable 3 PC is worth it for the Hardcore mode and coop alone IMO. Can't remember the last time I came across an RPG with multiplayer (that's not an MMO of course).

I'm there with you guys! Won't finish Act 1 before talking to everyone, beating every one on minigames (even if not on quest, there are plenty opponents and good money to be won), clearing every bush of every piece of forest around, staking up on Aether because that's my most needed ingredient since it's the one I'm always out of, entering every house, looting every crate, chest, whatever, killing every monster, clearing every ruin, cave, wandering around the outskirts in the day and in the night, (monsters sleep at night? can't find many), scalping every scoia' tel,  finishing every quest,  ploughing every hoe, strike that.. Triss might not like and turn me into a toad!

Alright so I've barely been able to play for any prolonged period of time over the past couple days, but I've been reading from people who have finished and it seems almost unanimous that Chapter 3/epilogue is seriously a super huge, massive letdown that really, really stinks up what is an otherwise fantastic game. This is disappointing as I thought TW1 had a nice ending while still teasing at more.

Guess I'll find out eventually....

So.....I finished Act III just now.

I am UTTERLY blown away. I detest hyperbole....but this is the VERY best RPG I have EVER played. And the Replay value (With imports to add sweetness) is GIGANTIC. Tomorrow I'll import my Shani/Pro non human save and start again. I am sure I missed a lot as well. Nothing like ten more playthroughs to gather all the details....  If anyone were to ask me about the perfect RPG...I'd not name the BG Series, not the M&M Series, not Morrowind, not DAO or DAII .....but TW2.

Sorry about the fangirling. I just had to share.:wub::wub:

Not to me. The ending I got was utterly mesmerizing, offering closure and making me hunger for more all at the same time.<3

Wow, that good huh?

Thanks for sharing though. I'd much rather trust the opinion of a player who's gone through it rather than a reviewer.

I'm sipping this game slowly like a good wine, if in a week my ending doesnt satisfy, I might have to ask what decisions you made. But surely I'll be playing this a few times anyway.

Oh you just like it so much because of the hot steamy love scenes I bet :), now does the ending imply there will be another chapter?

Not sure about the ending they experienced, but the one I got most definitely implies something big is coming later on.
