Nope at least not to me.

Good. You're going to need some XP before fighting it. It's like something out of Demon's Souls(the fight just feels so rewarding after you've beaten it

Some of the inventory design is baffling to me.
Personally, I'm confused on why I can't replace mutagens. Reloaded one hour of progress when I realized my lesser mutagen was going to cripple me for the entire game.
Edit: fixed a bit.

The Alchemy ingredients should have been similar to the Alchemy screen.
Being able to see the components makes it easier to find a certain ingredient.

It says in the manual it can't be reversed.

@Anybody who's finished chapter 1, does the game pick up? Currently not having fun with the monster hunting side quests in Chapter 1.
Oh, it picks up! If you've played TW1, you know how the early parts are a drag. Just keep playing, you will be pleasantly surprised.
Kayran beast is a breeze compared to the Wraiths of the Melitele quest... argh... it hurts!!!

As for mutagens they are permanent like in tw1, i remember a tough decision i had to make in tw1 about killing the werewolf and getting a strong mutagen or trying a cure for it and get some npcs aproval, had to choose

Yeah thats one odd design. Whats the point of "lesser" mutagens if they cant be overriden by a greater ect.
Strange indeed!. =/

yeah the inventory is a bit clunky, alchemy was way easier in tw1 i think, maybe i´m just not used to this yet i guess.

Well in Witcher 1 there were no mutagens in the same fashion as in Witcher 2. We were able to craft mutagenic potions out of the bosses we kill though the Vincent Meis werewolf quest was always a potion you could not get if you let him live unless you modded it.

I'm really pissed off that Alchemy will always place the most rare ingredients in the mix automatically. It even tried to use my quest item Green Mold! I have to manually pick some ingredients and the interface is not as friendly as TW1.

yep, between me and a friend who's never played the first game we both agreed that the inventory in TW2 is awkward

Would have helped if it was also hinted somewhere during the game. I am sure it is in the journal but as a WARNING right before you put a mutagen in the slot.
It pisses me off a bit too that there is no SORT button. Have to find all that junk manually

without getting too spoilerific, the choice i get after the 'elven bath' scene. Umm..
This is for real isnt it? I can sideline an entire main plot arch to pursue another, and the story will just go along with it?
Thats pretty freaking crazy if so.

I'm going out tomorrow to buy a game. Currently that game is going to be LA Noire. Convince me to get TW2 instead.
